Do any of my followers know someone learning Apex from scratch? I built a series of interactive coding lessons on CampApex.org. I'm looking for a few folks to try it out before adding more courses.

Has your charity migrated from physical severs to cloud based systems like Google Workplace or Microsoft Teams in the last year? How was it? I feel like many charities must have done this during the pandemic but I know precisely zero examples.

@charitychap Get a decent CRM system - so much can be built out of that in terms of communications, automation, business processes etc

"Where do we start with digital?" I've heard this question in a couple of online events with smaller charities in the last few months. What do you think the answer is?

Seriously. Look at this golf course by where I live in Ealing looking across to Southall and Dormer's Wells. How is this even vaguely acceptable in a big and densely populated city? Has anyone else got similar examples?

@TWGFoE Good to see. How can we get one put up outside our local school ? - parents and others often leaving car engines on

@Independentdol1 @ProfBrianCox As DfiD Secretary of State I doubled our spend on climate and environment - putting over a billion more annually into system. As environment minister - I funded the national parks, drove tree planting, piloted natural flood defences and introduced plastic bag tax. What is this?

We need to get SUVs out of all our cities. Because they are higher and heavier than other cars, they're more likely to kill the people they hit. They're also more polluting and take up more space. Driving an SUV in a city is an antisocial act. theguardian.com/world/2019/sep…

@WaterUK Over-extraction by water companies from rivers, esp the precious chalk streams in SE England, to the point where many are drying up - that's not going to bring wildlife back, its doing the opposite

By investing £25 billion in environmental work we've helped bring wildlife back to English rivers which had been biologically dead since the Industrial Revolution! #30yearsofprogress means #cleanersaferbetterwater

Water quality checks on the Moselle were carried out in January. Their report is long overdue but developer St William and Haringey planners have fallen silent. What is going on? Haringey citizens and colleagues deserve to know. pmra.co.uk/2019/05/07/pla…

5 years ago today, 4th Feb 2014 the minister, Lord De Mauley, said in Parliament "The Environment Agency will soon use its powers to revoke or vary abstraction licences without compensation where they are causing serious damage to the environment." How's that one working out?

Good Morning, it's Monday 4th Feb 2019. On 1st April 2004 section 27 of the Water Act 2004 came into effect. It allows for the "Revocation or variation", of an abstraction licence, without compensation, where that licence is causing "serious damage", to "any inland waters".
