PRESIDENT TRUMP: “America was not founded by weak and timid men who cowered in the face of evil or sat by as danger loomed and let our country go to hell.”
“We are descended from the likes of George Washington, Andrew Jackson, Generals Ulysses S. Grant, Douglas MacArthur, General George Patton.”
“Our ancestors knew exactly what to do with America's enemies. Beat them and beat them good."

It’s good news that the Strait of Hormuz has now reopened.
This must be a long lasting and workable solution, without tolls or restrictions on routes.
Today we announced our joint plan with France and other international partners to protect freedom of navigation.
We need to see a return to peace and stability, and a permanent ceasefire.

🚨 Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent caught off guard on Venezuelan assets?
The Trump Administration claims the U.S. Treasury now controls billions in Venezuelan oil proceeds.
Congressman Sean Casten asked him directly:
“The Trump Administration claims the Treasury has authority over Venezuelan assets. I asked Treasury Secretary Bessent directly what grants him this authority. He seemed to have no idea that he controlled these assets, let alone the authority behind them.”

@StateDept It’s not the strait or uranium—it’s the ideology. Terrorists will deal to survive, then break it the second they can. Don’t give them time. Stay the course. Back a transition led by Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi.

Hezbollah dragged Lebanon into the war, but Israel’s right to defend itself does not justify inflicting such massive destruction.
Israeli strikes killed hundreds last night, making it hard to argue that such heavy-handed actions fall within self-defence.
Israeli actions are putting the U.S.-Iran ceasefire under severe strain. The Iran truce should extend to Lebanon.
Hezbollah must disarm. The EU supports Lebanon’s efforts to disarm Hezbollah.

@MFATurkiye Key Source: Turkey remains a key conduit for oil supplying up to 30% of Israel's crude needs.
English

@MFATurkiye Official Position vs. Action: The Turkish government has stated it does not control the final destination of oil sold by international companies (like BP) passing through its territory. However, campaigners argue that as the host nation, Turkey could stop these transfers.
English

@MFATurkiye Continued Flow: Despite the political rhetoric and embargo, oil shipments via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline to Ceyhan and then to Israel have continued, with some reports suggesting these shipments intensified in 2025

I spoke today with Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian, as well as with U.S. President Donald Trump.
I told both of them that their decision to accept a ceasefire was the best possible one.
I expressed my hope that the ceasefire will be fully respected by each of the belligerents, across all areas of confrontation, including in Lebanon. This is a necessary condition for the ceasefire to be credible and lasting.
It must open the way to comprehensive negotiations capable of ensuring security for all in the Middle East.
Any agreement will have to address the concerns raised by Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile programs, as well as its regional policy and its actions obstructing navigation through the Strait of Hormuz.
This is how a strong and lasting peace can be built, with the support of all those who are able to contribute to it. France will play its full part, in close coordination with its partners in the Middle East.
This is also what I discussed today in my exchanges with the leaders of Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, and Iraq.
