I put together a one hour video on how I've been using Claude Code as my primary design tool. Packed with tons of 🔥 design tips.

@aarondfrancis What i want i, not expect, is parity with textarea. Eg shift arrow to select, ctrl arrow to move word, ctrl shift arrow to select word. In multiline prompt, arrow up to move within the text, ctrl z to undo last symbol change, etc.

Help me understand how you use hotkeys in terminals. Some people expect Cmd+Arrow to go to the start or end of a line, but Cmd is consumed by the terminal emulator, it never gets sent to the PTY. If it works, it’s because the terminal is remapping it What do you expect?

qt is genuinely great. i was able to get it to work on both linux and mac with basically no effort. and it's not electron slop. why do people still use electron slop?

@SamuelRome97104 @supabase This sounds great untill you realise thar when you query a wrapper table it will request data from the source. Great for one off analytics requests but one should not build entitlement checks off of that for example.

Stripe 🤝 Supabase There’s a Stripe wrapper for Supabase. Which means your database can: • Read Stripe customers • Query subscriptions & invoices • Sync payments into Postgres • Join billing data with your app data • Build dashboards directly in SQL

@JeffWeniger Remote work gives opportunity to disabled? If you had 10 people with disabilities employed before everyone was forced to work from home and 15 after, it's 50% growth. If you had 1000 without before and 1083 aftrer, it's +8.3%.

@rithvanga Cursor is loosing because their interface degrades while others improves. Codex plugin to vscode works better than cursor.

Cursor is losing because they can't RL foundational SOTA reasoning models for their harness. Only model providers can now win the AI coding wars. Chinese model provider distillation isn't sustainable and will always be behind the frontier.

@ded_ruckus How about not using hostile services instead of blaming apis? They don't want you to tab out? Just close the tab.

the API that lets a web app tell if it's in the screen foreground is absolutely antisocial whatever valid use cases it might theoretically have are outweighed 100x by the user-hostile ones

Twitch continues to deteriorate as a platform because what do you mean I can't TAB OUT TO MY SECOND MONITOR DURING THE AD BREAK I NEED TO FOCUS THE TAB AND THE WINDOW FOR THE AD TO PLAY?????? @TwitchSupport @Twitch what the actual fuck is wrong with you

@brett02e @samuelneedham @MattZeitlin Lol. In 46 us has like 5 atomic bombs that needs to be flown in a heavy bomber right over the target and there are 5 million red army stationed all over europe. A bomb in that context is a good threat but a bad weapon.

Another robot-caused human injury has occurred with G1. With existing reinforcement learning policies, their robot is trained to do whatever it takes to stand up after a fall. During that recovery attempt, it kicked someone in the nose, causing heavy bleeding and a possible fracture. This should be treated as a high-priority safety issue for Unitree to fix.

Why are devs so 'pro-AI' while artists are so 'anti'? 🗣️ It feels like coders are leaning into the tech to work faster, but creators are genuinely angry and frustrated by it. Is the difference just that programmers are used to constant change, or is the impact on their jobs just fundamentally different? Would love to hear some insights on why these two groups are reacting so differently!

My problem here isn’t the one that many people are articulating. It is that members of the effective altruism cult, who are radical far mode utilitarians with an extraordinarily twisted moral compass, should not be in charge of any such thing.

@RokoMijic If anyone has an influence on them, it certainly should not be a member of the effective altruism cult. Their own moral compass is so thoroughly bent that they have no business here at all.
