@aarondfrancis What i want i, not expect, is parity with textarea. Eg shift arrow to select, ctrl arrow to move word, ctrl shift arrow to select word. In multiline prompt, arrow up to move within the text, ctrl z to undo last symbol change, etc.

Help me understand how you use hotkeys in terminals.
Some people expect Cmd+Arrow to go to the start or end of a line, but Cmd is consumed by the terminal emulator, it never gets sent to the PTY. If it works, it’s because the terminal is remapping it

@SamuelRome97104 @supabase This sounds great untill you realise thar when you query a wrapper table it will request data from the source. Great for one off analytics requests but one should not build entitlement checks off of that for example.

@PatrickHeizer Yes, but then you either use one password for everything, since pulling that piece of paper every time is tedious, or oauth. And its hard to say what’s worse.

Writing your passwords down on a hidden piece of paper that you keep in your house is far, far safer than any piece of software.

Another robot-caused human injury has occurred with G1.
With existing reinforcement learning policies, their robot is trained to do whatever it takes to stand up after a fall. During that recovery attempt, it kicked someone in the nose, causing heavy bleeding and a possible fracture.
This should be treated as a high-priority safety issue for Unitree to fix.

Why are devs so 'pro-AI' while artists are so 'anti'? 🗣️
It feels like coders are leaning into the tech to work faster, but creators are genuinely angry and frustrated by it.
Is the difference just that programmers are used to constant change, or is the impact on their jobs just fundamentally different?
Would love to hear some insights on why these two groups are reacting so differently!

My problem here isn’t the one that many people are articulating. It is that members of the effective altruism cult, who are radical far mode utilitarians with an extraordinarily twisted moral compass, should not be in charge of any such thing.

AI shouldn't have morality per se, it should be a tool with a bunch of checks and constraints. Nobody should be unilaterally setting "the morality of AI".
