Enabling American industrial power - space, nuclear, oceans, mining | VP Regulation @zeno_power Fellow @payneinstitute Views my own. He/him

“They won't have a nuclear weapon because they are incapable of that now, ..and if we have to we'll come back to do spot hits” As for the enriched uranium still possessed by Iran, Trump said: "That's so far underground, I don't care about that." reuters.com/world/middle-e…

Just to call it now, don't be surprised to see a $2xx handle before this is all done.... nor to see a $2x handle on the rebound lol

The White House just authorized Defense Production Act Title III funding for American textile manufacturing. Expanding access to DPA Title III funding strengthens the foundation of America’s textile supply chain. It reduces foreign dependencies and strengthens our ability to equip and protect U.S. servicemembers in every theater of operation. The Berry Amendment requires the Department of Defense to source 100% U.S.-made textiles and apparel. Today, that domestic base delivers over $1.8 billion each year in uniforms, armor, footwear, and individual equipment to America’s armed forces. It supports production of more than 8,000 textile items and 30,000 total line-items when including size variations. At @anatar, we're taking this challenge head-on, building infrastructure that ensures our warfighters have reliable access to the gear they need, when and where they need it. Fight's on!

There's an excellent framework for healthcare AI legislation being developed by @AdamMeier20 and the Cicero Institute. They wrote a model bill that gets the fundamentals right: regulate the practice of medicine, not the code. Their AI Medical Services Act creates a new licensed provider type, requires malpractice insurance, mandates transparency, and more. I like this because the safety decisions related to AI in medicine should be made based on open and accurate data. Interestingly, it builds in a regulatory sandbox with a shot clock: 30 days for completeness, 90 days for a decision, etc. I'm glad to see serious people building things like this. ciceroinstitute.org/wp-content/upl…
