Not me. To us there were no boundaries. What you are possibly seeing are variations of the "True Way" assertions, which come in various sizes, shapes and manifestations. You see, if there is no true way of using the imagination in a conceptual construct then these types of people are ultimately on their own. I am not suggesting that they are insincere, but that they really believe that what are essentially their interpretations or "House Rules/Laws" are good for everyone. The trouble is we had thousands of variations of the game when it began and at that time NO ONE was claiming that their variation was other than their way alone. So this sharing, prevalent then and only when people met at conventions or locally, has now been concentrated in real time online. It's created a lot of noise and variable impressions, only. It's also created useless arguments as I noted above regarding the "True Way".

There's no bigger dividing issue in TTRPGs than the gap between point buy and random ability generation. In my experience, gamers fall into three basic groups on this topic.

@JackFrostvc @TelepathyTapes I’m Houston’s mom. There were multiple tests from a variety of sources with no ability to be reflected on any surface. None of us are signaling our children. Zahari is completely blind. Please stop doubting. We are telling the truth.

This is kind of a lame bit of spin from Kirby. I'm sure that "many" of the drone sightings are in fact just planes or other things. But there are pretty obviously *also* drones as lots of bipartisan state officials in NJ/NY are saying. whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/…
