I once read that men barely get compliments... so I thought I’d try being kind in a harmless way. At a bookstore, I told a guy, “Hey, that book you picked is really good, you’ve got great taste.” He lit up instantly, smiled way too long, and started walking beside me… asking what I was doing, where I was going, if we could grab coffee. I kept it polite at first, then shorter, then silent.. but he didn’t take the hint. I had to pretend to get a phone call and rush out, leaving my own shopping behind. It wasn’t a compliment anymore. It felt like an invitation I never sent. Yeah… there’s a reason we hesitate.

I don't want sex constantly for the same reason I don't want a cheese sandwich constantly. Is it nice you've made me one? Sure. Am I sometimes interested in having it if offered? Definitely. But I just don't want a cheese sandwich at 3am or when I've just eaten breakfast, no matter how good you are at making cheese sandwiches. I'm amazed men don't understand this

Most people don't realize that for decades, the vast majority of clinical trials and medical textbooks were based entirely on the male body. The system literally did not study how diseases present differently in women. Even today, women are dying of heart attacks because their symptoms don't look like the "classic" (male) symptoms. the system was literally built without our blueprints.

I went to the ER with intense lower abdominal pain. I couldn’t stand up straight, couldn’t. sleep, kept throwing up. When they asked my pain level and I said 8, the nurse looked at me like I was exaggerating and moved on. The doctor came in, barely examined me, and immediately asked if I was stressed. Then if I had anxiety. Then if I was on my period. He said it was probably hormonal and told me to take ibuprofen and rest. I tried to explain that this pain felt different, like something was actually wrong. He smiled and said, “Women tend to worry about these things.” Two days later I ended up at a different hospital. I had a rupturing ovarian cyst and internal bleeding. The second doctor asked why I waited so long to come in.

On the third visit, an OB-GYN insisted on two ultrasounds to "confirm fetal demise" before admitting her to intensive care—by then her blood pressure had plummeted, lips turned blue, and organs began failing. She died hours later from sepsis complications. Her mother later said it felt like doctors were more concerned about the fetal heartbeat than her daughter's life…….PATHETIC
