If a child continuely refused to wear the school tie or come in trainers or has thevwrong hair cut, but other than that, then child's behaviour was impeccable and had the most outstanding progress 8 score, are you telling me you would put that child through sanction? Isolation, fixed term exclusion, p/ex?

Schools have RULES for a reason. It’s to keep everyone SAFE. Upholding the rules is part of our role as teachers and school leaders. When RULES are not followed repeatedly appropriate action must be taken. It’s about creating a safe and strong culture where everyone can learn, develop their character and be successful.

@edmunds_dr Yep absolutely horrific. Seen the paper, some questions reminded me of 1st year undergraduate homework. The paper will favour the mathematically able.

I knew (from here) about being able to give 600mg Ibuprofen, but I didn't realise it could be QDS. It's this just my ignorance, or is there a culture of systemically under-dosing? Shouldn't we be going up to max NSAID dose before adding opiates?
