There's nothing worse than weapon bloat. Getting a new weapon should be an event - remember how great it was to finally get the Firebrand or Icebrand in Final Fantasy 4? I hate when you get a ton of weapons for no reason, it just dilutes them and no longer makes it special. Especially when you go from Broadsword to Broadsword +1. Get rid of that.

@smartbackwards @peterxeno It's probably a lot of data wrangling but maybe just update positions every X number of ticks? I understand your worry is that this is too volatile to trust it but keep in mind that the fact that the gbm doesn't update doesn't mean that you can trust it more.

(ML nerds come here) wanted to showcase a thing i've been working on for my master's thesis - im trying to train a machine learning model to predict win probability. came up with an improvement to @peterxeno's graph network model by adding enemy visibility to the edges of the graph representing players on a server. the model "knows" about the position of the players too, hence why it likes FUT's chances enough to give them about 30% even despite a plant and man disadvantage it seems quite... unstable so if anyone would have feedback for me i'm down to hear it (tagging @LuzRaposa cause i think he could help)

I'm a FaZe enjoyer as much as the next guy but they really ruined the final by beating Navi. Mouz deserved it by the way they played, Navi just lost to classic FaZe BS. I doubt they'll be able to replicate this next season though.

Besides individuals not performing, faze T side had questionable calls. 1. 1st round 4v4 with 2 CTs gushed, go A to long distance fights 2. First gun round pop B without any info instead of playing drawn out round where faze excel at 3. No anti push setup when making a comeback

For the third time in history ZywOo and Vitality are into the semi-finals of a major and thr favourite to win it all. Their opponents? A MOUZ who they have beaten every time this year. The other side of the bracket are all teams who have never shown a comparable level. Get the confetti ready.

NaVi played good CS today and made the match closer than anyone could've anticipated. At the end of the day, individuals gave Vitality the edge. Let's hope NaVi improves their firepower next season and see what B1ad3 can achieve with that.
