Reke gwîre... When you are using a dusty road and you accidentally open your mouth then the dust finds its way to your mouth. My friend that's how Njahi tastes... Siwes

Some yrs ago, noble men conceptualized a plan to revolutionize healthcare in East Africa, with Centers of Excellence developed to lead the provision of specialized care. Phase 1 targeted Ke (Kidney), Tz (Heart), & Ug (Cancer). Guess which country dint bother to complete theirs.

Stop blaming the budget. Kigali runs on half of what Nairobi receives and it is spotless, organized and functional. The difference is not money. The difference is not resources. The difference is not infrastructure. The difference is us. We are corrupt. We are undisciplined. We litter, we bribe, we steal public funds, we elect thieves and then complain about the results of electing thieves. Nairobi is not a city that needs more money. Nairobi needs people who are ashamed of what they have allowed it to become. Until that day comes no amount of funding will fix what is fundamentally a character problem. 😐

@JalangoMwenyewe In civilised societies, not the filthy jungle you oversee, public transport is organised, safe, and efficient. Galleries for art of whatever kind exist in well planned, built and accessible locations in cities and towns.

Ng’anya culture is here to stay. We’re heading back to court, and I will personally cover all legal fees as we appeal the ruling. This is an industry that drives Nairobi. People travel from all over just to experience matatu culture—the art, the music, the energy.

This photographer was arrested in Githunguri, Kiambu County, and labeled a goon. The police who assaulted him later reached out to him and offered to compensate him after he was found innocent. The police realized he had footage of them harassing him.

Tigoni police station, you are holding a young lady who is a rape victim! You have colluded with her perpetrator to deny her justice! Her young son is outside your police station in the cold! What kind of inhumane behavior is that? Worse still, you are refusing to issue her aunt, the only close relative who had given her shelter at the time of arrest with an O.B number. That level of impunity MUST end. Her aunt has called me to try plead with you but you have an insolent male officer on duty who chose to hang up demanding that they come tomorrow. They are not leaving the station UNTIL you process and or release the victim by the book! You want to pretend tomorrow that SHE was never at that station? We already know what you are capable of when Kenyans look the other way even for a minute!! I am personally taking up the matter and will ensure the OCS and the complicit officers are prosecuted. OCS Christine & your officers! We shall see where that impunity hides in the face of the law!! Share widely! @DCI_Kenya @IG_NPS @fidakenya @thekhrc

Unconstitutional. NTSA cannot assume the role of the Judiciary. The rights to impose a fine fall squarely under the Judiciary. If a quasi-judicial body imposes fines, it must derive that authority from statute and the right to be heard must be granted. I will file a Petition.

The NTSA rules placing cameras and imposing a fine to motorists who allegedly violates the highway codes is UNCONSTITUTIONAL. Only a judicial officer duly employed by the JSC has the requisite jurisdiction to impose a fine on an offender upon a judicial finding of guilt. The NTSA rules violates the right to be presumed innocent until proven guilty. Dear fellow motorists ignore these rules. Don’t succumb to this unconstitutional rules. You’re are innocent until proven guilty by a competent court of law. A mere machine has no capacity to pass a verdict of guilt against you.
