They recently announced Aquarium, the first market fee protocol on Cardano, and CIP-113, a standard instrumental in bringing USDC to Cardano. 🧵8/15 👇

In the past two weeks, a few significant developments have started to take shape. We promised we were going to build in the name of transparency, so here’s everything that’s happened 👇 We had 2 major discussions: ➜ An Investment Fund ➜ IOG 🔹 Investment Fund We found out they love using Boosted Stake 🤯 From their POV, it’s a great way to offer above-average yield to their clients without the risk of defaults. 🔹IOG The conversation revolved around Aquarium, and specifically Babel Fees.. This is a massive turning point as they showed interest in the way we are thinking about Babel Fees and how our solution could (potentially) benefit Cardano. It makes a lot of sense because IOG’s solution is at the ledger level, while Aquarium would run on a decentralized network of validators to allow not only Babel Fees but also Sponsored and Automatic Transactions. The Applications are endless! - Hiding blockchain infra from User Experience thanks to Sponsored Txs. - Transacting using Custom Currencies In-game. - Automatic Payments. - & more. Both conversations are still a Work In Progress, but they showed very promising signs.
