@godaddy @godaddyhelp literally the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Do NOT register your domain there. Customer for over 25 years and got complete run around and waste of 3 hours of my time still with no resolution.

@BladeoftheS 10+years @GoDaddy have been taking money out of my account for a service I no longer have or use. Tried numerous times to cancel it, can’t. Bank said they would cancel it, they haven’t. Subscriptions suck.

New York has banned abusive contracts that are difficult or impossible to cancel. Now you have to be able to cancel them with one click of a button. Everywhere needs this.

GoDaddy’s $GDDY Treatment of Disabled Veterans. Aman, CEO of GoDaddy Could you please point me to someone who can help me?  In March of 2026, I invested $5,500.00 in GoDaddy to build a new website for me. Three days after I gave GoDaddy the money, I started passing a kidney stone.  You see, when I joined the Submarine Force, they didn’t tell me that 65% of all submariners get kidney stones due to the radiation of the missile-carrying submarine boat. So, the nice salesman who sold me the service said they would have the site up and running within a month.  But as I said, a few days after paying, I went into the Hospital for 5 weeks. During that time, I received a call asking me to schedule a meeting with one of your web service builders here in Tempe, Arizona, to discuss my website. But I told them I was in the Hospital and would contact them after I got out. So, several days after I got out, I called them to check on the status of the website build-out. They transferred me to someone in the Philippines.  When I placed the build-out order, I asked that someone local be assigned, not overseas. So when the person in the Philippines answered the phone, she told me that my build-out was canceled because I didn’t respond in 30 days.  I told her that I was in the Hospital during that time. She said there was nothing she could do. So, I told her Fine!  Please return my $5,500.00.  She said I would have to speak with a Customer Satisfaction Manager, who called me the next day to inform me that I was past the 30-day window and that I would not be receiving a refund. Okay, let’s get started.  I told him that I would be in Seattle at the end of May and that I would contact them after I got back the first week of June. I placed the order in late March, and by then it had been two months. I waited for them to call about the website, but I haven’t heard from them. I contacted them multiple times on their personal cell phone, but they didn’t respond. Finally, I spent 3 hours yesterday (7/7/2026) trying to get my money back.  Now it’s been 4 months, and still no website. So today I got a call from another Customer Satisfaction Manager who told me he couldn’t issue a refund and that I would have to continue with the build-out. REALLY! I told him I was done and I wanted my money back. I have been a GoDaddy customer (No. XXXXX535) for 27 years.  And I told him I was disappointed. He said...Unfortunately, I still can’t issue a refund. So, I asked who his boss was, and he said...Nick O. I asked for his last name, and he said....I can’t give that to you.  So, I said...Fine, I will contact your CEO! Please send me someone who can help me get my money back. @GoDaddy updated my expired CreditCard w/o any help from me. I didn't want to renew. However it has renewed my Domain name, maximum security and website. Its too hot to have to go through the palaver of reversing it so I guess I shall have to build that website after all!
