🆘🔊URGENT: Kaveh Arabian may be facing execution at any moment. Kaveh, a father of a newborn baby, was arrested on 12 January 2026 in connection with protests in Yazd. His child was only two months old. He was reportedly held for 68 days in IRGC Intelligence custody, subjected to severe torture to obtain false self-incriminating statements, and denied both a lawyer of his choosing and a court-appointed lawyer. Branch 1 of the Yazd Revolutionary Court sentenced him to death for moharebeh. The Supreme Court has now upheld that sentence. After one final family visit with his parents, wife and baby, Kaveh was suddenly removed from Yazd Central Prison and transferred to an unknown location. His family has reportedly been threatened and ordered to remain silent. Sources fear that he was taken away for execution. A death sentence produced through torture and denial of legal representation is not justice. It is state killing. Kaveh’s baby must not grow up knowing that the world remained silent while a father was taken away to be executed. His location must be disclosed immediately. His execution must be stopped.
