I believe @beehiiv not letting newsletter entrepreneurs start monetizing via Boosts is an expensive mistake (u have to pay $99/mo to upgrade to Scale plan). Why? We set up shop on @ConvertKit (they let you start monetizing paying $0) Maybe @denk_tweets wanna reconsider?

PAID TWITTER SUBSCRIPTION EXPERIMENT UPDATE: I'm up to 210 paid subscribers for my Twitter Subscription. That's $6,000 MRR in a few days for what I estimate at 1-4 hours per month of work (responding to subscribers + 1hr monthly AMA). And I'm only a few days in. Best of all, I'm really enjoying responding to questions and chatting with them, and I've even found a few potential investments and partnerships as a result. As I shared in my tweet yesterday, I think I can get up to a minimum of 2,500 or so subscribers at $29/mo, resulting in $72k MRR ($864k ARR). That works out to around $25,000 per hour of work. Influencers are doing it wrong, focusing on ads. Sure, they should sell ads, but they should also offer paid access or gated content to their 1,000 true fans (call it 2.5%-5% of their audience). It's such a no brainer. I'm interested in building a service for Twitter subscription management that would do: • Analytics (churn/LTV/MRR/etc) • WhatsApp/Discord group syncing • Private podcast integration with @Supercast • Email newsletter integration Anyone want to build this with me? Last Saturday I did a three hour Twitter Space just with my subscribers. Tomorrow, at 9 a.m. Pacific, will do that again. It is only $2 to join. Some things going on, we're about to take a two week vacation on a road trip from New York to Maine for a family wedding. My goal will be to be present with the family, so things will be light here until July 4th but tomorrow is a good chance to wrap up Apple's announcements, and a few other things.

To be precise: 47523 followers (at the time of posting) and 80 subscribers becomes 0.168%

He has 47k followers and 80 subs, that's a 0.1% conversion rate, not bad. He can easily push it to 1% which is a great conversion rate! Remember: 1 Subscriber is Worth 1,000 Followers.
