🚨 What a crowd. Over 1000 people in Fort Wayne, Indiana organized in defiance of the proposed massive Rock Quarry project by U.S. Aggregates. The 524 acre quarry will also accompany an asphalt and concrete plant.
The resistance consists of the Lutheran Health CEO, local business owners, and the many residents who reside nearby.
The proposed quarry is located between Lutheran and the new IU hospital just West of I69. Many high end subdivisions and homes are nearby.

@jessica_reyher @AngelaGraceLOU @tee_kae63561 I also think criminals should get to pick their punishments

@AngelaGraceLOU @tee_kae63561 Where did I say that? All I said was my crime didn’t fit the punishment. Really is simple to comprehend. 👍🏻

Response to Repeated Defamation of Character Comments About January 6th
My husband and I were present outside the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, but we were NEVER inside the building. We entered the tunnel area three times and remained outside the tunnel the rest of the time.
1. We never entered the Capitol building.
2. We were unarmed. We never carried weapons, never struck any officers, and never broke or damaged any property.
3. We were never charged with terrorism.
4. We were never charged with insurrection.
5. We were part of the crowd that was pushing forward at times.
6. When an officer was pinned against the crowd, we stopped pushing with the crowd and instead pushed back against it to help free him.
7. My husband personally assisted Officer Michael Fanone in getting to safety.
8. We left the area before the back window was broken and before protesters entered through that window.
9. We ultimately pled guilty. The J6 cases were not handled justly in our view. I was terrified of potentially receiving a 10-year sentence, even though my husband wanted to fight the charges. Prosecutors told us that if one of us fought the case, the other effectively had to as well, despite being tried separately. I was scared and chose to plead rather than risk it. I’m not a bad person for that. Sue me.
10. As for the death threats? That says more about you than us. You sit there and say what a terrible person we are yet continue to wish death upon us. Keep commenting, you’re just helping our case. Remember we were pardoned and what that means.
Believe what you want, I genuinely don’t care. I’m just exhausted from answering the same questions and accusations over and over. @ArthurReyher

It’s the correct move. The sun sets way too early in the winter. I will trade darker mornings for lighter nights. Can’t have it pitch black at 5pm

President Trump indicates he will sign bill making daylight saving time permanent.

@JoshMcKoon Trump was “saving” ACB in the event RBG passed, but okay.

It is almost like it was a mistake for a President to explicitly base his appointment of a Supreme Court Justice on the basis of race and sex.
Andrew Fleischman@ASFleischman
Supreme Court justices should not give speeches about their colleagues. If you have an opinion, write it down and file it. This is unprofessional and damaging to the institution.

Every year, I share this video of French caretakers who take sand from Omaha Beach in Normandy, and scrub them into the letters to give them the gold coloring.
They do this for all 9,386 US soldiers who died.
France also gave us this land as American soil. #MemorialDayWeekend

@ThirdLegLegette @BiasSteelersfan If a guy had a kid at 25 then went after one of the most prolific college volleyball players that were 18-19 to make them a step mom you’d understand real fast

@SpeakerJohnson How surprised was Victoria the race was in Indy?
English

We had a great time today at the 110th INDY 500, and enjoyed catching part of the race on the rooftop with the legendary Roger Penske. Team Penske driver David Malukas finished 2nd today, and just 0.0233 seconds behind winner Felix Rosenqvist—the closest finish in race history!
The best part was the moving experience of honoring our fallen heroes for Memorial Day with nearly 400,000 Americans.🇺🇸

My hot take is that it's OK for Americans to not want to compete against the entire world for a job in their hometown.
i/o@avidseries
It's almost impossible to view these people as anything other than insecure downwardly-mobile losers afraid of competition from more talented immigrants.

@maxjohnsez @sunnyright Where in that ruling, where it affirms the ability of Americans to access Iranian assets, does it say that the money needs to go back to iran? Pinpoint cite would be great.
English

So in exchange for us getting nothing on nukes, we give Iran $25 billion to finance nukes and terrorism and Iran reopens the Strait over time as it wants to
OSINTtechnical@Osinttechnical
NYT says the number is closer to $25 billion for Iran. nytimes.com/live/2026/06/2…

@maxjohnsez @sunnyright Are you talking about Markazi or some other case? Do you know how to cite case law?
English

@maxjohnsez @sunnyright Why did Trump not release the funds his first administration
English

@goodweezy13 @sunnyright The only legal justification for keeping funds is war and as soon as there is no war there is no justification to keep anything.
English

@maxjohnsez @sunnyright When? Why didn’t Trump pay it in his first administration? Gimme details, not
English

@goodweezy13 @sunnyright yes. it would have been paid even earlier.
English

@maxjohnsez @sunnyright I can’t get you to answer simple questions
English

@maxjohnsez @sunnyright Again I ask, if Trump hadn’t invaded, would the US have paid this ruling?
English

@maxjohnsez @sunnyright Legal judgment? Show me. If Trump hadn’t invaded Iran, there would be no 20b to send them. There would be no strait of horzmuz issues. Lower gas. We’re basically where we were before with JPCOA. Americans died. Ur retarded ass won’t acknowledge simple numbers. You’ve lost it all
English

@goodweezy13 @sunnyright Obama since the money was legally questionable. Trump has legal judgement and no basis for retaining the money. Obama had legal basis to keep it at the time it happened. So still Obama.
