Funny as they have already hosted four days of the event on their campus. Might this last minute decision have something to do with them hosting IOF terrorists who blow up schools?

Update: the venue, TivoliVredenburg has pulled out of hosting the event tomorrow. They decided (under pressure from local activists), that the participation of 93 students representing 'israeli' universities breaks their cultural boycott. Good news: now arrest Leon Khlebnikov.

I gotta say, without judgement, I find this all bizarre. The things I regret from COVID are eg missing funerals, being unable to see people for fear of infecting them, acrimony in my family over protocols. But do I feel traumatized by the act of wearing a mask? No, that’s crazy.

🚨 Israel is preparing to invade and ethnically cleanse another refugee camp in the West Bank

We managed to enter the Israeli kill zone in the Nur Shams refugee camp in the West Bank. This is the location of perhaps the most forgotten humanitarian catastrophe in Palestine. The residents were expelled by the IDF in January 2024, and have been unable to return since, making them refugees twice. Nur Shams, Tulkarem and Jenin Refugee Camps are now essentially training grounds for the Israeli army, while they continue to terrorise the refugees in the nearby villages.

Weirdly, I’m a homeowner in NYC (a coop) and I didn’t show up on Mamdani’s list or get a letter from the city saying I owed the pied-à-terre tax.
It’s probably because I don’t own a primary residence outside the city & my apt’s not worth millions?

My mother’s first cousin was lynched. I grew up with George Floyd, who was murdered by police a Palestinian called. Palestinians own businesses in neighborhoods where the residents are people like me and can’t find jobs. So if you wanna tell me that they’re in more danger than Black people are, even though they are higher educated and higher paid than we are, you can fuck off
