[CRITICAL] GSTR-2B Concerns for Oct/Nov 2024 As you're aware, there were many missing Invoices/Credit/Debit Notes in the GSTR-2B for Oct 2024. Here's the summary of different scenarios that we have observed after a detailed ITC Reconciliation based on GSTR-2B for Oct & Nov 2024 and also based on IMS for Nov 2024. Case #1: Present in GSTR-2B for Nov 2024: A few of the missing Invoices of Oct 2024 are reflected in GSTR-2B for Nov 2024. Please claim them based on GSTR-2B for Nov 2024. Case #2: Present in regenerated GSTR-2B for Oct 2024: Since GSTR-2B was generated multiple times last month (on 14-Nov, 17-Nov, 20-Nov, etc.), you may find those missing invoices in the regenerated GSTR-2B for Oct 2024 itself. If you did not claim them along with GSTR-3B for Oct 2024, please claim those invoices along with GSTR-3B for Nov 2024. Case #3: Missing in GSTR-2B for Oct & Nov 2024, but present in IMS: Please accept those invoices and force the GSTR-2B generation for Nov 2024. You will be able to find those missing invoices in the regenerated GSTR-2B for Nov 2024. Please log in to the GSTR-2B dashboard for Nov 2024 and ensure that the GSTR-2B generation date is today. Please claim them based on GSTR-2B for Nov 2024. Case #4: Missing everywhere (GSTR-2B for Oct & Nov 2024 and in IMS as well): You may find a few invoices like this, where the invoice is reflected in GSTR-2A as "Filed" and the supplier had filed it on time. You may still find these invoices missing everywhere. Since you know that these are valid invoices, you can claim ITC based on your reconciliation only if you're 100% sure of the following: 1. The supplier filed their GSTR-1 on time or before the due date of Nov 2024 2. You have the physical copy of the invoices and can justify the purchase if you receive a notice in the future. ITR & GST Due Dates - (What should be the Logical dates )- 1. Non Audit ITRs - 31st Aug (3 Months from the TDS Dates) 2. Audit Dates - 30th Nov plus Return date - 31st Dec. 3. GST Annual Return - 31st March ( GST is already 4 years back in process of Assessment hence it will not make a big difference. For ITR verification 60 Days time should be given instead of 30 days . #Extend_due_date_immediately
