BREAKING: Acting FDA Commissioner Kyle Diamantas previously was listed in court records as counsel for Planned Parenthood of Greater Orlando. He is temporarily filling the vacant position after Marty Makary’s resignation. We cannot allow someone who represented Planned Parenthood to oversee rules surrounding the deadly abortion pill mifepristone that has killed MILLIONS of babies. @realDonaldTrump, we need a strong pro-life nominee to replace him IMMEDIATELY.

For Solzhenitsyn, suffering was a profound expression of God’s grace. "Your soul, which formerly was dry, now ripens with suffering. And even if you haven't come to love your neighbors in the Christian sense, you are at least learning to love those close to you.” —Solzhenitsyn

Paradoxically, Solzhenitsyn learned to recognize the evil latent in his own heart as he watched guards and fellow prisoners commit acts of unspeakable atrocity on their fellow men. It was this recognition of his own sin that eventually led him back to the faith he had abandoned.

Thousands of babies are dying daily because of abortion pills being shipped directly to women, even in pro-life states where it’s illegal. No baby in America should be killed by an abortion pill. This drug is evil.

“Fear not, for I am your shield.” God calls us to fearlessness just as TR describes here. Courage is not the absence of fear. It is the decision to act faithfully in spite of it. Teddy Roosevelt understood that bravery is built through practice. We become courageous by choosing courage before we feel it. The Christian life demands the same. We are not called to shrink from hardship, retreat from duty, or wait until fear disappears. We are called to trust God, stand firm, and move forward. Fear becomes smaller when faith becomes stronger. And a nation in need of renewal will not be restored by timid men, but by men who are willing to do what is right—even when they are afraid.

Yesterday, @AlphaNews posted a video of an individual who, along with several others, harasses our church every Sunday. (I am not reposting the video because of its obscenity.) By their own admissions, as captured on video, these agitators are deliberately targeting families and children. It is a coordinated effort to desecrate our Sunday mornings. St. Paul officials are doing nothing to stop it, and the City Attorney will not respond to my emails. We are simply asking for equal protection under the law.

These people want to insert themselves into the God-created relationship between parents and children. They’ll do anything to keep you from discipling your kids in the truth of God’s Word and raising the next generation of joyful, healthy, Spirit-filled believers. Pure evil.

WATCH: “Don’t bring your children here,” says one of the protesters outside Cities Church in St. Paul this morning when she was asked why they show up every week with artificial phalluses in tow. Submitted by a church member, as the protests have been ongoing since January.

When it comes to motherhood, our cultural stream produces both salt water and fresh water: We declare mothers to be irreplaceable in one breath, and say that mothers are completely optional in the next. thembeforeus.substack.com/p/you-cant-cel… While the nation is busy purchasing billions in Mother’s Day gifts, some are celebrating the birth of intentionally motherless children. When popular gay-identified celebrities or even conservative politicians declare, “We’re pregnant!” fans fall all over themselves to congratulate them. - @Katy_Faust

The creed is the Declaration of Independence. And yes—we should test to see if they believe the creed before letting them in, and we should require proof they’ve already embodied the creed in the way they’ve lived. We should require fluent English, we should favor Christianity and intact families, we should prohibit all welfare, and we should expect the highest level of virtue. We should require them to take the oath, and denaturalize all who break it. This would automatically disqualify most of the 3rd world. Since we don’t necessarily have time to screen millions of people at this level 1 on 1, we should cut off immigration from entire countries if most of the population there has shown unwillingness to assimilate. We should also put a total pause on immigration until we get the mess sorted out. We can do all this without descending into DNA-essentialist, race-essentialist retardation, and we can do all of this without trashing the idea of a creedal nation. In fact, protecting our creed is the best argument for doing all of this.
Devon Eriksen@Devon_Eriksen_

"America is a creedal nation!" "Okay, can we test people to see if they believe in the creed before letting them in?" "No, that's racist." "Then can we kick them out if they don't believe in the creed?" "No, that's denying them due process and their constitutional rights." "Can I see a copy of this creed?" "Nope, no one can agree on exactly what it is. We think it has something to do with the declaration of independence, though." "Okay, so what you're saying is that this creed defines the nation, but it isn't defined, that it forms the basis of the law, but has no effect on the law, that we owe allegiance to it, but that allegiance cannot be tested or demanded?" "Yep!" "So the creed could be anything, couldn't it? It could be 'horsies are pretty', or 'eat at Joe's', and it wouldn't make the slightest difference?" "I suppose so. I never really thought about it. What's important is that judges decide who is an American, and what America's future will be." "Say, aren't you a judge?" "Yes, what's your point?"

A viral video showed highschool kids unable to sound out words like “extraordinary” and “silhouette.” ~25% of 16-24-year-olds qualify as “functionally illiterate.” They read below a 5th grade level. This can change, but we have to go back to the basics. One, parents have to read to their kids - no excuses. Two, we have to teach our kids phonics, not the exclusive “context clue” method we’ve tried and failed for decades. Here are my two “whys” for ensuring our kids read well: 1. They’ll be lost in every way without it. 2. It’s our Christian obligation to do so.

For all of our talk about rights, one of the rights that actually faces serious political threat is that of a child to have a mother and father. If you don’t believe that, watch this video of a baby crying when he is mockingly told he has no mother.
Right Angle News Network@Rightanglenews

Two gay men in Nashville are sparking nationwide outrage after recording a video of themselves mocking the baby they had via surrogacy as it cries for its mother for content. Man: “Who do you want, Dada or Pop?” Baby: “Mama” Man: “No, there is no mama.” Baby: cries

Let's build a coalition here. Not inter-faith; not compromising the gospel (speaking as an evangelical). But let's see a coalition arise of American religious groups and related citizens--Protestant, Catholic, Jewish, and more. Let's BAN SURROGACY. Children are not for sale.
Owen Strachan@ostrachan

CHILDREN ARE NOT FOR SALE. The Christian church *must* tackle surrogacy. We can't ignore it. We have to fight it. We must ban it. It should be illegal to buy babies. Every child is a bearer of God's image. Every child needs a father and mother. CHILDREN ARE NOT FOR SALE.
