@coopuk But what would be so wrong about someone buying the flowers knowing they're passed their sell by date? The ones in question weren't even flowered yet! I think you should seriously look at how much #waste you're creating with this policy.

@graceskywalker Hi Grace, unfortunately we wouldn't be able to ensure the quality of the flowers but they don't go to waste as they are sent to a processing plant for anaerobic digestion and are used for energy. ^Harry

Hey @coopuk I was wondering if you could let me know why your stores can't sell flowers that are passed their 'use by' dates? Surely they're not for consumption? A colleague told me they go into 'wastage' wonder if the other shops do the same? @Tesco @sainsburys @LidlGB @AldiUK

Fascinating (& worrying) paper out showing how beach plastic increases beach sand temperatures by 2.5°C. 🏖️🌡️ As temperature determines what sex sea turtles become, beach plastic (& climate change) are skewing turtle populations female. 🐢♀️ sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

@SaintSaviour Foxes love anything with a root, maybe try the pee thing, I've also heard lion poo can help (I think you can buy it online from parks, you don't have to get a lion, they're cute, but will probably cause more damage). Netting the tops could also work.

A creature (think it’s a fox) has been into my veg and dug up all my beetroots. Anyone got any tips for warding off foxes? 😞😥

I want to plant some vegetables in my garden in something like this...but I’m the least green fingered person on earth. What’s really easy to grow?!
