What you have, sir, is a fauxgina, a dead-end fvckhole that doesn’t clean itself (and let’s be honest, you won’t clean it either), and which will have to be kept open by dilation for the rest of your life, lest it close up on you like the open wound it is. The only thing it has in common with a vagina is its location and its general shape, but even that is never quite right. Jim Chalmers just admitted that Labor’s housing reform isn’t really about housing. He said boosting home ownership was key to countering a surge in right wing populism in Australia. That came after One Nation won the Farrer by-election. So the broken election promise on capital gains tax and negative gearing (that Albanese explicitly campaigned against changing) is being driven by voters defecting to the right; not housing data or affordability modelling. The treasurer also conceded the housing market is broken and admitted supply alone wouldn’t fix it. That’s quite the reversal of the official Labor line that held all the way through the 2025 campaign.

Income tax was a temporary measure to help fund WW1. When will it end? Both sides of government have proven they don’t have enough business sense to run a fish and chip shop, let alone manage a country’s treasury. Give people back their 47% of wages and let a free market decide what it wants and get government out of the way.

Higher taxes put higher burdens on young people, they produce fewer houses and make it harder for young home owners and renters.

Sport brings people together, and Australia and Fiji know this better than most. Together with @PatConroy1 it was great to join a @TeamUp_Program rugby clinic in Suva yesterday, seeing firsthand how sport builds leadership, empowers young people and strengthens communities
