This was called “a backwards pass out of bounds”

@tjmcaulay Now do the Texas Tech TD where the player goes out of bounds.
English

Here's additional video of the controversial Va TD. The rule is that if a player is forced out, he may return inbounds and be the first to touch the ball.
The 2nd angle shows the receiver was contacted by the defender's left arm. It's certainly arguable that there was not enough "force" to cause the receiver to go OOB. Replay cannot review that aspect. If there is any contact at all, which there was, the play is not reviewable with respect to how much "force".
College officials are extremely liberal with the term "force" and almost any contact is considered enough. I'm not a fan of that philosophy as I believe the rule requires the contact to have some effect on the receiver.
Finally, I would note that the ball is in the air when contact occurs. *If* this is enough force to send the receiver OOB, then it would also be enough force for defensive pass interference which was not called.

@SpencerRosenhan Two nights in a row. I just want to go to bed.

@jlwarre3 @TacosTweets Corbett isn’t supposed to look back. He is getting the signal from the D Lewis, who is looking back at Bryce for the signal. You see him get the signal then he gets in position then taps Corbetts leg to snap it. So either Lewis gives the wrong signal or Bryce is late adjusting.
English

@gregorycook10 @TacosTweets This looks like it was on 3. They are using a leg lift/step as the cadence. You see Bryce go lift his leg twice, then takes a step forward to audible. The center thought the step forward was the third leg lift and snapped it (understandably). That’s my interpretation.
English

I tend to not let emotions get in the way when I watch gametape, but this is a Will Smith head shake moment.
- AC63 Horrible snap timing
- TT82 jogging across the middle of the field
- Left side of the line getting destroyed (again)
- All WRs starting their routes a whole second late
In all seriousness, Corbett starting at Center needs to be re-evaluated. Your center shouldn't be breaking your plays.

Interstellar is one of those rare films you wish you could experience for the first time all over again. Pure cinematic awe.

What's movie would you'd like to watch for the "first time" again?

@JakeBentley23 @LaRespectful_23 Yeah he’s huge but you never saw big guys like Karl flop like he does and the slightest of contact.
English

@LaRespectful_23 THIS! People fail to realize that LeBron is built more like Julius Randle or Karl Malone than like Kyrie or AI or Kobe or MJ. Never been anyone in the league like him.
English

@4Wade2021 One punt the whole game and 8 for 14 on third downs??? That’s insane.
English

@PCFriarsmbb It seems you’re missing a few of the sounds of your students yelling extremely offensive language during this game. You may have won but you still took a big L. #classless
English

@jaromjordan We just get to hear Brock say “Flem” 10000 times during the game.
English

@JakeBentley23 I saw Holmoe on the field that thought he has the chance to do the funniest thing ever

@JacobCHatch Imagine knowing this and still complaining that the game was stolen from you

I am baffled that Utah wouldn’t put Isaac Wilson in the game against BYU & see if he could get the offense going if they knew the extent of Brandon Rose’s injury at halftime. I know they had a good second quarter, but if Rose was hurt significantly & it was apparent the offense was struggling in the second half why not let Wilson get in there & see what he could do?
