if you're still on the fence about trying @openclaw, read this: - "I can already do this with Claude Code". Yes, you can, the raw capability (models) is the same. But why wouldn't you want your own personal version of Claude Code that you control? - "The setup failed so many times I decided it's not worth it". I get it. It's frustrating as hell (especially the cron jobs:)) Just think of GPT-3, and look where we're now. Why aren't you willing to go through the friction and see what's actually possible? I guarantee it that it'll click for you. - "What's the actual use case?". I get you! Every major tech shift has noise. But with openclaw, you create the practical value - you own your assistant, so you get to build/use it in the most exciting ways that you will think of. Finding myself going back to RSS/Atom feeds a lot more recently. There's a lot more higher quality longform and a lot less slop intended to provoke. Any product that happens to look a bit different today but that has fundamentally the same incentive structures will eventually converge to the same black hole at the center of gravity well. We should bring back RSS - it's open, pervasive, hackable.
