@esidery Cavs have ~$22m in cap space w/ Hezonja, which drops to ~$20 after trading Strus for Kuminga, then again to ~$18m after making their last roster signing. Even if the Cavs somehow salary dump Schroder, that means Harden is signing for ~$32m. So he’s taking a $10m pay cut for this?

@AgentD24 @LakersNation With the above in mind, the Hawks still wouldn’t have enough cap space ($13.6-13.9) to absorb either player from the Cavs in a sign and trade and still be below the first apron. So they’d have to cut 2+ players or shed salary in another deal. Why go through all that?

@battl2heaven @brosales12 Yea, that would require Harden take a far more substantial pay cut than he’s ever agreed to in his career. And, to do so in this case simply to enable Kuminga to make almost as much as him. That’s not happening.

@gregucla2010 @brosales12 There are a plethora of reasons why I’m skeptical of kuminga and the Cavs, this is only part of it. James harden really going to take a paycut from 42m to 23m for Jonathan freaking kuminga too? Because I’ll believe that when I see it.

@gregucla2010 @brosales12 I would use the luxury tax as the ceiling for the hawks until proven otherwise. They are 4m below it right now and they can reset their repeater tax this year with an already filled out roster.

From my understanding, for the Cavs to offer Kuminga more than $6mil, they’d have to: 1. Move salary off the books(Strus and/or Schroder) 2. Have Harden take a considerable pay cut Not sure they can have both of those happen honestly

@ChargersMemes Chargers defense only gave up 7 more yards a game. They were also 4th in the league in INT’s. Denvers defense forced a total of 14 turnovers, Chargers forced 23. Chargers offensive weapons were by far better. Whats the argument here?
