With Hezonja heading to Cleveland, that leaves one suitor for Jonathan Kuminga: The Los Angeles Lakers. I would expect a sign-and-trade involving Jarred Vanderbilt to be completed there with the Hawks.

I don't need to follow the Hawks to know how the CBA works. Deep enough into the summer and the busiest part of FA that the trade exception is something of value next summer.

Hawks won’t do the Lakers work for them, maybe the lakers found somebody for Vanderbilt, but I guarantee he isn’t going to be Hawks. It would only take 2 seconds to get Kuminga, the problem is all the teams have to send out players to make it work and the Hawks have too many as is.
