@thepanta82 Simple. Read every line of code the agent wrote. if you don't understand anything, ask it to explain. Often I have asked Claude to write an MD file with explanation of changes to help me review code later.

I hate the feeling of no longer being fully in the loop. I tell agents to debug an issue. They explain what goes wrong. Propose a solution. That's sure a lot of jargon. Do I fully understand what they're saying? Kind of. But certainly not like if my mind was solely focused on that bug fix, instead of juggling 5 other threads. I tell them to do it. Make the fix, create a PR, the usual. Is their solution really the right approach? Will they not include a dumb invariant that might later bite me in the ass? Glancing at code, it *seems* fine. But I'm not sure. I'd have to go way deeper into the issue to be able to tell. But that would defeat the purpose of having agents do the thing instead of me. That'd be *inefficient*. So I merge it in, and move on to the next thread. Forever falling behind so I wouldn't fall behind.

@davepl1968 You know you can just tell AI to write in C instead. Object oriented programming is going to become obsolete since it's merely a tool to help humans keep track of what their code is doing or not doing.

This. This is the way. This is what AI is for. I've written code like this 1000 times, and I won't be writing the 1001st time anytime soon. Sheer grunt work.

It's a strategic thing. As a previous poster mentioned, it should only be used for emphasis when all other words have failed. After you have used swear words, you are only left with physical action to further emphasise your point. In other words, if you you reserve swearing for extreme situations, you have less need to become physically violent.

Why do some people get so offended by cuss words? Serious question. I would like to hear an actual argument from the tone police as to why certain words cause some of you so much agony. I personally don’t get it. They’re just words. 🤷‍♂️ There is no linguistic difference between “piece of crap” and “piece of shit” except that some rando with too much time on his hands decided one day decades ago that the former is socially acceptable and the latter is bad. And the rest of society has now been conditioned to think that certain words are bad without any sort of criteria given as to why they are “bad.” If you’re using the Lord’s name in vain, I understand why people would be angry about that. I’m not talking about that. I also am not talking about people who lazily use cuss words ten times in every sentence. But a well-placed “F-bomb” or the use of “bullshit” (my favorite term) to emphasize a point is nothing to get your panties in a knot over imo.

@QazzjJones @MrsAA55 Yes, there may be an offer in principle, but the offer may be withdrawn if the selected property doesn't meet their criteria, for example, when the mortgage company think the property is overvalued.
