PM is traveling abroad to secure investments and ensure energy security in this period of economic gloom due to various global wars. It is one thing to know that, as a contender of PM post over the last 16 years, you don't have the intellectual capacity to understand this. However, I am intrigued to see your irritation towards promoting a reputed Indian brand (Parle). Is it because you don't want Indian brands to be showcased on the global stage? Or are you disgruntled by your intelligence (or lack of it), which has kept you puzzled over why melody is chocolaty?

@ajay43 Why should MMS have reacted ? He had already planned to cushion OMCs by issuing oil bonds (yet to be fully redeemed)

Crude was at 140$ a barrel in 2013 and Dr MMS didn’t act like the world was ending. Then why, with Brent Crude around 105, is Mr Modi acting like the apocalypse is here? There’s obviously been tremendous mismanagement over the last several years- it’s NOT the war!

@sardesairajdeep @AnantGuptaAG @scroll_in @ECISVEEP In the face of such blatant manipulation I'm curious to understand why the losing candidate hasn't filed an election petition in HC ? That is the only legal recourse available. Would also ensure preservation of cctv footage from counting centres beyond 45 days.

A detailed story by @AnantGuptaAG of @scroll_in which surely deserves a detailed response from @ECISVEEP . Cc Justice Bagchi, Justice Surya Kant. (And yes, young Anant is probably a ‘cockroach’, thank god for that!)

In Rajarhat New Town seat, TMC MLA finished with more votes than anybody else when counting concluded on May 4, according to ECI data. scroll.in/article/109285… The next day, the BJP had won the seat by a wafer-thin margin of 316 votes. But how did this happen? @AnantGuptaAG finds out

A meticulous account of how a lead of 316 votes was overnight converted into a defeat by 316 votes via a mysterious extra round of counting after all votes had already been counted. More such stories are trickling in. Thanks @AnantGuptaAG and @scroll_in

The real story is ‘PMO fact-checking a news story’ and not usual PIB Factchecking Unit or Union Finance Ministry. Why did PMO issue a rebuttal ?! Strange. Also PM Modi is currently on a five nation tour.

Remember the curious case of slow counting in Bengal on May 4? "Wherever the fight was tough for us, counting took place slowly," a BJP worker told Scroll.  By mid-afternoon, this meant the BJP had a strong lead in Bengal even though only a fraction of votes had been counted. @AnantGuptaAG investigated how this affected a TMC stronghold in Kolkata: Rajarhat New Town. Once a saffron win seemed imminent in the state, TMC counting agents were forced out from the counting centre, both TMC and CPI(M) told Scroll.  Till then, the TMC was leading with a significant margin. However, *once the TMC agents left*, the data shows that the BJP closed the lead rapidly. The next day, in a special, extra counting round, with no TMC agents present, the BJP was declared the winner. READ: scroll.in/article/109285…

In the investigation over the leak of the #NEET question paper the one thing that has to be clear is who in the NTA was the source of the leak!! One could catch all the couriers but the strongest link is the person subverting the NTA system from within.

.If there was such blatant manipulation why wouldn't candidate @TapashTMC file an election petition in Calcutta HC ? That is the legal recourse available to him. What is even more strange is that the reporter doesn't ask the candidate this basic question. Anyway candidate still has over a month to do so, petition would also ensure video recording of the counting centre is preserved.

Vasant Shetty | Building Mundhe Banni
He skipped placements at IIT Madras for 2 consecutive days. On the third day, he took a flight back to Mangalore just to avoid being forced by his family to attend placements. His desire to build an aircraft company was so intense that it made him act irrationally in front of his family. He then started building his aircraft company from Bengaluru. When he had barely Rs 20,000 in hand, he still hired an intern, promising a stipend of Rs 7,000. On one of the days when he could not make it back to his PG on time, he spent the night at the Majestic bus stand. All of this at the age of 23! That is the story of @shreepoorna365, founder of Arctus Aerospace, a company building unmanned aerial vehicles that can fly up to 45,000 feet and capture imagery for a wide range of use cases. Hear his full story on the @mundhebanni podcast, with English subtitles for those who do not follow Kannada. 👇 youtube.com/watch?v=qiXXbr…

A person on ventilator cannot file a writ. Kids are running from pillar to post in hospital to collect blood and do other formalities. No one in his family has time to even visit bank again let alone file a writ. Ideally KYC should not be there for senior citizens unless something is very suspicious

My mamaji is on ventilator. He had all his life’s savings within PSU bank in FDs. All his accounts have been sealed as due to being bed ridden he could not do re-KYC in person. His kids asked bank to take humane view. Bank said if he cannot come in person, accounts will not open. FDs in PSU banks can be useless in time of need due to KYC regulations. @narendramodi @RBI this KYC mess is draconian. Please help in this time of need

By denying the Selection Committee crucial information, the government has reduced it to a mere formality. The Leader of Opposition is not a rubber stamp. I cannot abdicate my constitutional duty by participating in this biased exercise. I therefore dissent in the strongest terms: Rahul Gandhi, LoP on Selection of next Director, CBI.

I have written many times before that the protection of the international border and related matters are completely under the control of the central government. Because even though the area adjacent to the border is partly under the state, the part immediately adjacent to the border is always under the central government. The BJP has misled the people of Bengal.

This is how Bengal was handed over to BJP, by SC & ECI Based on ECI data, A article published in Scroll.in persuasively argues that "in as many as 105 seats, BJP won by fewer votes than total number of names that were purged from electoral roll ahead of polling"
