@realEstateTrent If you own a small business look at a QSEHRA. It is a good way to fix costs and provide reimbursement for employees health insurance plan.

Health insurance for a family of five can easily cost $30,000–$40,000 per year. So -- If you run a small business and want to recruit an employee who expects fully paid health insurance, that’s a really big number. If that same candidate happens to have a spouse whose employer covers the family's health insurance, it eliminates that cost for you and allows you to make a competitive offer. You literally save $40k just based on what that candidate's situation happens to be. Such a crazy system in so many ways.

Mitch Barnhart on his new $950K gig: "The notion that this golden parachute is falling from the ceiling and I'm going to sit in a rocking chair and eat hay is ridiculous garbage. And that notion that started by some -- two or three knuckleheads -- needs to end."

Trump ripped up the Iran nuclear deal and created this mess. Now, he's putting servicemembers in harm's way with no clear plan and no Congressional approval. The American people deserve answers — and Congress needs to do its job.

@gvtcontractor Moving him from a W-2 to 1099 doesn’t help you in anyway and if his job doesn’t change you could open yourself up for issues with dept of labor potentially.

I just found out my top producer (rockstar) has a serious drinking problem. I'm really at a loss of what to do here. In my internal investigation, I've found out that he has had alcohol on his breath during work hours more than once. This one employee was responsible for 30% of all company revenue in 2025. Effective yesterday, I moved him from W-2 to 1099 and took away his company truck to distance my company from him for liability reasons. I'm still trying to decide if I am going to part ways completely, demote him in some way so he is only working from home or insist on rehab with daily breathalyzers while at a jobsite. He is 26 years old, married with 2 kids. Wife does not work. What would you guys do in this situation? If he was not my top producer this would be a much easier decision.

What’s you guys opinion of the new @SouthwestAir seating policy? I see @TomiLahren teeing off on it. So far the biggest issue I’ve seen is it feels like boarding takes much longer. When people didn’t have assigned seats it felt like there was more urgency. You guys?

@ClayTravis I like Calipari’s suggestion of one transfer allowed without sitting out a year. I think being stuck at a school you aren’t a good fit for is punitive.

My college eligibility fix: 1. When you sign, you are locked in for three years with school you sign with. 2. You can transfer in fourth year, but not until then at same level of play. 3. You get a fifth year transfer option if you graduate.

NEW: Philadelphia woman finds her Honda Civic completely encased in ice. The woman, who made sure to put both windshield wipers up, has a good attitude about the situation, saying, "It is what it is." "I mean it's kind of funny, so like it is what it is." According to locals, a water main break caused flooding in the street. When cars drove by, water splashed onto the cars, which then froze over.

@gtfishman @KySportsRadio He did not ever pull the gun. One of the ice agents disarmed him. And regardless, he's well within his rights to carry. If he resists, the proper step would be to detain and arrest him, not point blank shoot him in the back after he is detained and disarmed execution style

@KySportsRadio The video is not very clear but I think I can hear police yelling “gun”. My comment wasn’t just about this incident but others. If he had complied none of this would have happened. Fighting police is a losing game. Fight them in court if they are unjustified in detainment

Worst part about owning a small business: Health insurance. The entire healthcare industry is broken in this country. It’s nearly impossible for a small business to find a reasonable group plan for your team and their families. Then once you find a plan (usually only 1 option available), the cost is so astronomically high that the employer and employee can’t afford it. I’ve had employees tell me they can’t afford the $1,000+ premiums every month for the family and then have to pay thousands more once they do have a claim. So they waive the health insurance plan, save the money from the premiums and roll the dice hoping no one in the family gets sick or injured. As a business owner, the options are limited because financially we can’t afford to offer any alternatives given our size.

I haven't renewed my car registration in years, and may never again. Why? Math: The ticket cost is $100 - $200, whether I'm 1 or 10+ years expired. It takes 1-2 annoying hours/year to get inspected and renew, and only 20 mins to get pulled over & pay the fine. Let's say I get pulled over once every 3 years. I'm paying $70/year to save 2 hours doing an annoying task. Oh, and that's not even including the cost of the registration or the inspection! That's a net win, my friends. Also, if I get pulled over, it's usually for speeding, which mean's they'll almost always fine me EITHER for speeding OR the expired tag. Rarely both. So I win. It's a waste of money & time. Procrastination pays. Incentives drive outcomes. This is not engagement bait BTW. This is what I actually do.
