People who flew or crewed Blackhawks in the 90’s when they heard an F-15 got downed by friendly fire.

I opriginally thought this was an incorrect statement but its perfectly right. If Ukraine was able to destory Russian Shahed production, Russian would have been purchasing Irans stockpiles. Now the US has to deal with 80,000 Iranian HESA Shahed 133 raining down on assets.

The reason we gotta spend $4 million per Patriot missile to shoot down a silly $20,000 Shahed drone is because Donald Trump refused to give Ukraine the Tomahawks necessary to take out the Shahed factories in Russia

It's one thing when people fabricate fake historical photos with AI because they put zero value on truth instead of clicks. But it's another whole issue when people depend on AI to tell them if things are real. AI does not know. Here is Grok insisting the real image is fake.

This is a krytron, a high-speed trigger switch historically used in nuclear weaponry to control the timing of detonation circuits. It’s an ultra fast, gas-filled tube that works by using a small electrical trigger to ionize gas inside, which instantly allows a much larger current to flow. The ability to switch high currents almost instantly is what makes it useful in systems where extremely precise timing is critical. Some krytrons contain a small amount of radioactive material (like Nickel-63 or krypton-85) to help the gas ionize more reliably. Krytrons were developed in the early 1950s and used primarily through the 1970s, especially during the Cold War. In nuclear weapons, they were part of firing circuits that required multiple electrical pulses to occur at almost exactly the same moment. They were also employed in scientific and industrial applications such as pulsed lasers and high-speed photography. Legally, krytrons are heavily controlled under export regulations like the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). They are legal to own in the U.S., but exporting them internationally without proper authorization is strictly prohibited.☢️

There is a lot of discussion surrounding the supposed F-35 video today picking up the same level of brightness from the airframe as the exhaust. Wanted to compare with some old attempted shootdown video screenshots from the Houthis using Iranian-provided equipment.

Today, an administrative immigration judge ordered the deportation of Rafael Rubio, a City Council employee. This is an affront to justice. A dedicated public servant with legal authorization to remain in the country, Rafael showed up for a routine immigration appointment and, despite following the rules, he was detained and has now been held for months. He should be immediately released.

Air Safety #OTD by Francisco Cunha
"It ain´t over till its over..." (and this certainly applies to helicopter flying: as one pilot said to me once "we´re only relaxed when the rotors stop spinning") Here, a H130 has a dynamic rollover while attempting to land in a field near Pearl Beach, Michigan, on June 22, 2025. All four on board were not injured. More info here by "Heliflight page" "Pilot planned to land near a restaurant for lunch by the pilot with three passengers. He over flew the landing area and then set up for a “gradual and slow” approach. When the helicopter touched down, he felt the tail drop backwards. The pilot stated that he compensated by adding collective and forward cyclic which inadvertently induced a dynamic rollover. He added that a gusty tailwind prevailed at the time of the landing. The helicopter sustained damage to the main rotor blades, the main rotor transmission mount, fuselage, and horizontal stabilizers. The pilot reported that there were no mechanical malfunctions or failures associated with the helicopter before the accident. Probable Cause and Findings The National Transportation Safety Board determines the probable cause(s) of this accident to be: The pilot’s failure to maintain control of the helicopter during landing".

@Txp_RBI_Xctuxl You can set the modern ECU’s to deploy the chute if the IMU sees the car going crazy motion wise.

Btw what happens is drivers see that autopilot is about to cause a crash and disengage it to try to stop the crash and it’s too late. Then tesla gets to say that autopilot wasn’t engaged

Nick Shirley is an op. The kid who doesn't know what words mean and can't spell, whose "investigations" have led to zero arrests and been ridiculously debunked somehow has tens of millions of views on this platform with content being heavily pushed by AI and foreign accounts.

@DocStrangelove2 Makes himself happy. He’s got no military or law enforcement experience. Has he ever faced a barrelled weapon in anger, or does he just play with targets. As a gunsmith can adjust that trigger pull to empty a revolver quickly, so what. Breaks records zzz 🥱

@yacineMTB If you’re conflating a feedback button to collect training data (that does not decrement Like count) with a Reddit downvote button, you are just looking for a reason to be mad about something.
