@DanCanobbio Not me. I love the sweet science. I haven’t gotten into MMA. It’s probably bc I haven’t invested in learning about it. BUT boxing is so much more interesting to me!

@DanCanobbio Wilder is so sloppy. The last time I liked watching him was in the Fury fights. AJ v Fury has to happen for the heavyweight division.

@TheMrBowz @jyaubone @AlGruskin Why should any scholarship money go to non-USA. The home country federations or governments can choose to pick up the tab. Coaches can balance the team, using the 4.5 scholarships to fully support us players even if the player further down roster.
English

@jyaubone @AlGruskin JY, that’s my main issue. Federal & state 💰 paying for free education for non-🇺🇸 people, then they go back home and put that education to use in that country. Needs to be a 50% rule. No more than half your scholarship 💴 can go to non-🇺🇸. Then everyone on same playing field.

Immeasurably valuable to the college tennis experience
We have plenty of issues surrounding eligibility. Players' nationalities...not on the list

I’m currently watching the SEC men’s tennis championship match between Texas and Mississippi State on the ESPN/SEC network. There are 12 players currently on court. 1 of them is from the United States of America
English

@jyaubone @PayersPlayers There is also the issue of the NCAA allowing foreign federations to designate “elite” status to intl players to circumvent the NCAA training limits. Also unfair to US players.
English

@PayersPlayers And a great point brought up by @guykulman that universities get federal funding, so should that funding go to international student athletes? A great conversation.
English

@jyaubone If the Universities want foreign players, payment should be covered by their countries. The scholarships should be more available then for US citizens even if they player further down the roster.
English

@jyaubone I think the bigger issue is scholarships going to foreign players. Universities receive federal funding. It seems Americans should get the scholarships and US tax payers not subsidize foreign players

Thanks @JohnIsner for the feedback! @tennisaurus_rex keeps trying to get a bot-level serve! A long way to go!

@tennisaurus_rex I saw this point somewhere the other day. Unreal! Your serve looks great. Keep up the reps

@JohnIsner - last August you gave me feedback on my switch from platform to pinpoint. Here it is in live play. What do you think? #botornot

@heitner The lengths the powers that be are going to keep the $ away from the talent that creates the value is crazy. This is all about distribution. I don’t believe a word about caring about education, the system or the athletes.
