Today, on my birthday, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for my family, friends, colleagues and the privilege of doing science and caring for patients. One of the best gifts I received today was seeing the fruits of mentorship: not one, but TWO members of the Faltas Lab, Rahul Singh PhD. and Jaekwon Kim MD, PhD, received $100K Young Investigator Awards. Congratulations, Rahul and Jaekwon, on your hard work, persistence, and success. Proud and grateful to be part of your journey!
