Some bittersweet professional news: today I leave the State Department to begin a new role as Senior Professional Staff Member on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. It has been an extraordinary privilege to serve with so many brilliant public servants at State and beyond.

I was honored to speak with @OAS_official about promoting democracy in the Americas. I will continue to champion opportunities the U.S. has to work with our partners in the hemisphere in my role as Chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Subcommittee on the Western Hemisphere.
