This is a hard article to read, but I hope you'll do so. I've spent some time reporting on widespread rape and other sexual violence of Palestinian male and female prisoners by Israeli authorities, and the article is now published. The assault victims were warned not to give speak of what they endured -- they were sometimes told they would be killed or raped if they gave interviews -- but they found the courage to do so. One man described being raped three times in a single day in Israeli prison, the third time after he tried to protest. A young woman said the guards would come in at the beginning of each shift and strip her naked and abuse her. Another reported that she was shown photos of herself being raped and warned they would be released unless she cooperated with Israeli intelligence. Even three children who had been detained told me they had been sexually abused. Look, whatever our position on the Middle East, we should be able to agree on being anti-rape. Sexual assaults were horrific when Israeli women were targeted on Oct. 7, and they're equally horrific when Israeli authorities use them against Palestinians day after day after day. We should be able to find common ground in opposing rape. Here's a gift link to the article: nytimes.com/2026/05/11/opi…

No IDF soldier has ever raped any Palestinian. Period. End of story. And if you think a dog can rape a person, you’re different level ignorant. The entire blood libel of sexual violence by the IDF is the mother of all projections. Like many other things, want to know what Israel’s enemies are guilty of? Look what they accuse Israel of. Full stop. It never happened and never will. - The end

NY Times really wants to double down on their Hamas propaganda. They stand by their false claim that Israelis train dogs to rape Palestinians. We are going to start to see the normalizing of Jews being murdered in America soon thanks to the NY Times. It’s incitement.

SIMPLE ANSWER: Because nobody in the newsroom wants to touch it. Those I’ve spoken to there say there’s an absence of anything concrete in the Kristof piece to build off for purposes of real reporting, so they’d be starting from scratch.

If the @nytimes is so confident in @NickKristof reporting, why aren't they publishing multiple front page stories daily following up on it? cc: @noam_dworman

@jeremycorbyn Show me the math behind your genocide claim. Start with the 15M Palestinians in the world, including the 2M in Israel who have equal rights and access to the best health care and education in the Middle East.

Seeing the tens of thousands of Palestinians return to their homes in northern Gaza, one can only remember the endless accusations against Israel: that the war was about displacement, ethnic cleansing, settlements- that these are supposedly the 'real' aims. Now the war has ended, Israel sees itself as victorious, and none of these goals has been achieved. How is it possible? Here's the truth: Israel was trying to prevent Hamas from controlling Gaza and, primarily, trying to get its hostages back. I’ve spent so many words in international media explaining that this war could end in minutes if Hamas agrees to return the hostages. But that ship had long sailed; the war was not portrayed by most of the international journalists or politicians as a war at all. Israeli military casualties were almost never reported. It was presented as an onslaught, a massacre - no security aim, no reason, just death, reigned by Israelis with no purpose. Now, the hostages are returning, and the war has suddenly stopped. Will they remember that forgotten connection? Hostages were always at the heart of the legitimacy of the war- for Israel, the U.S., and the international community. True, far-right and some Likud elements in the Israeli government had other (dangerous) dreams. The Prime Minister allowed those to be discussed and addressed. Yet these were never the consensus or a real option. Recap: Hamas first refused to give up control of the Strip. Then, it refused to release hostages before full IDF withdrawal. It then refused disarmament. Now it agrees to all of these conditions. Echo chambers that cheered Hamas’s radical demands were obsessed with indicting Israel rather than ending the war and saving lives. With all my criticism of Netanyahu and the missed opportunities to end the conflict, this was never about endless war. I write this no to defend him, but to explain the Israeli society. one only needs to know Israelis and witness the scenes of joy now, with this ceasefire, to understand that this is a people that wanted their lives back. Mainly, they wanted the hostages home and to know Hamas isn't a threat anymore. President Trump, in a true demonstration of state-of-the-art statecraft, made it happen. He will forever be regarded as a hero in Israel. Those who amplified Hamas’s demands are now silent- or even condemning the agreement. For them, it’s never been about Palestinians. It’s about hating Israel and Zionism to the point of being willing to sacrifice the last Palestinian so that their argument demonizing Israel will prevail.

As we hold our breath awaiting the hostages’ return, the facts of the past two years are clear to any decent person, and this is what history will remember: 1. On October 7th, 2023 thousands of Hamas terrorists attacked peaceful Israeli communities and burned, raped and murdered 1,200 Israelis, kidnapping another 250. This included elderly Holocaust survivors, and months old babies. 2. As a result Israel waged a war with two goals: to remove the Hamas threat and to bring home the hostages. 3. Hamas had previously turned most of Gaza into a massive terror complex, with tunnels, rocket launchers and ammunition in tens of thousands of homes, schools and hospitals. 4. Israel faced this unprecedented challenge by massively evacuating civilians, sending millions of text messages before attacks and essentially bent over backwards to minimize civilian casualties. 5. Given Hamas’ methods, tens of thousands of Gazans died. Many were Hamas fighters and many, unfortunately, were civilians. Civilians dying is an inevitable and horrible part of urban warfare. 6. At no point was there a policy of starvation. There was food insecurity because that’s what happens in wars. The pictures of supposed starving children, we now know, were of kids with unrelated pre-existing conditions. 7. There was no genocide, nor was there anything remotely close to that. This is one of the most successful BIG LIES in modern history. 8. The overwhelming majority of Israelis want to raise families and build a good future for our children. We hate war. For us it’s personal because we’re a citizen army. I had to fight wars. I lost close friends. My son serves in the same commando unit as I did. We have skin in the game, so nobody in Israel wants to kill or be killed. But we know that if for one moment we’ll lay down our arms, we’ll be massacred as on Oct 7th, and that’s not something we’re planning. 9. Israel had the deepest gratitude towards @realDonaldTrump and his team. You saw this in Tel Aviv last night. Israel also has considerable domestic debates. That’s part of the beauty here, though I’d happily have a bit less of that beauty. 10. We now need to turn a page, and open a new, beautiful chapter for Israel and for the region. Change is coming soon. Am Yisrael Chai🇮🇱

@RajaAbdulrahim Shameful propaganda in the @nytimes. No mention of the same Palestinian descendants who did not flee and now live in Israel with full citizenship and equal access to health care and education. 20% of the population. Many of which work in the public sector.

🧵1/ The children of Gaza & WB - revealing the Islamist palestinism death cult and UNTWA’s role in their use and abuse: 👉🏻To understand Israel in this war- you have to truly understand what we’re fighting. It took us 75 years, repeated monstrous terrorist attacks, that manipulated every ounce of our morality, countless monstrous statements by its leaders and one #October7th genocide attempt- for the majority of Israelis to understand that the group that defines itself as "Palestinian" is led by a palestinism death cult (with many leaders that were born in other Arab countries- like Egypt, Syria, Jordan etc. and with IRGC agenda and support) that sanctifies death for the sake of Allah - suicide and murder by and of children and all others are holy and for the sake of God (as opposed to death is a necessary evil for the protection of life and the values of freedom) It took us 75 years to realize that this death cult is maintained by international organizations that call themselves "guardians of human rights and international law" and have many polite and whitewashed expressions in the language of the West (colonialism, oppression, occupation, apartheid, river and sea) with the purpose of justifying, advocating for and covering up of an extremist religious sectarian ideology - a criminal and corrupt palestinism-Islamist ideology - which sanctifies the blood of children for the purposes of the sect and in the name of "God (Allah)", that glorifies the murder of innocents because they are "Jews" or “the west” whom it defines in serial brainwashing as subhumans, pigs and monkeys - that must be destroyed in order to please Allah "from the river to the sea" and then also - to destroy the control of "the West" heretics. In this cruel and unimaginably tragic picture of reality - the children are both messengers of murder, victims who grew up to sanctify their deaths and also a product of propaganda to continue the blindness of the West and its use against itself and to continue this unbearable control and exploitation of children, in the name of the death of said children. Placing the children at the heart of the violence of this death cult and this cruel cynical use of them - poses new and impossible moral dilemmas that obviously serve the death cult that has never had zero care or interest in morality. It took us 75 years to wake up from the "two state solution" propaganda fraud and that awakening was painful. It took us 75 years to realize- that while we in Israel were singing and educating for peace, working for peace and trying to reach out for humanity in every way - the death cult loyalists across the border on the other side were dreaming, singing and teaching about the blood of Jews and the war of exterminating the Jews, they were training militarily from birth to die for Allah in the holy war in which they will kill as many Jews as possible and die for “Palestine”. Even since we left Gaza in 2005 and long before that from the PA territories in the West Bank - there were (are) groups in Israel and in the world that still talk about Israeli "occupation" as if it were Gaza and the West Bank - but there (in Gaza and WB) they talk about “the occupation of Palestine from water to water" "from the river to the sea" - Including Acre, Haifa, Tel Aviv. Meaning, “liberation from occupation" means the complete destruction of Israel, a complete genocide and ethnic cleansing of its people. For them it was for 75 years: Arab Palestine (although it never existed). This thread will show the methods of this death cult that is now pushing for more power and support through “self determination” - of a criminal cruel organization that is hijacking a people with UN help and support. The first clip is from the movie: “UNRWA AT WAR” - full movie is here: vimeo.com/995955490
