NIMBYs Deserve Homelessness
I don't really have too strong an opinion on NIMBYs. I respect everyone's opinion.

@neo_antiquarian People are homeless and get evicted because they can't afford rent because of your influence. People who want to make a lot of money and pay taxes in SF to help those people can't because of you. Just resign and focus on something else since you're clearly not cut out for this.

YIMBYs are so stupid they can’t tell the difference between depreciating consumer goods and appreciating long-term investment assets, but barge into your replies to demand they are experts on economics. Show me the widespread structural speculative market for a Kia Sorrento
Augustus@Augustus__J

@neo_antiquarian @MichaelPauleen @eric23332 The car analogy is so good that YIMBYs used it for years before the used car market spiked when lockdowns cut new car production. It's almost like economics gives us rigorous ways to predict how the economy works and how prices are formed.

@h04ms I’m a stranger and you expect me to respond to all of your posts? I’m rewatching the sopranos over here and I’ve given you enough of my time, go call your mom and fight with her. I have my own small children.

@neo_antiquarian I like it when you NIMBYS quote tweet people to try and make examples out of people, but it never works since you just resort to insulting them. Also doesn't help that you're just wrong on a fundamental level. About everything.

@h04ms Omg shut the fuck up. It’s not the house, it’s the land, dumbass, learn how something works. Mobile homes depreciate because in most cases, you don’t own the land.

@neo_antiquarian And since you can't make more land, it's important that we apply best use. That's why prop 13 needs to go, and why keeping SF at low density housing is not only unproductive, it's actively dangerous.

I haven't had a tweet with thousands of likes in years. I don't even want to look at the replies. Hopefully most people are nice but it is twitter.

@Samoth12 The bar for failure for a business is not making enough money to pay back your investors and employees. The bar for failure for government run operations is destruction of the entire facility of massive fraud since they have infinite budgets. You are retarded and incapable.

"It will fail because it won't generate profit!" The purpose of food is to feed people, not to generate profit for mega corporations. "Regular grocery stores will have to compete on prices!" I thought capitalists loved financial competition?
Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani@NYCMayor

At our five-borough municipal grocery stores, New Yorkers will get a 30% discount on eggs, milk, chicken, fresh produce and other everyday essentials. In the wealthiest city in the richest country in the world, no one should have to wonder how they’ll afford the food they need to feed themselves or their families.

@lcwhitlock14 Price per square foot might never go down, but now more than ever it's important to build as much housing and as many different options for housing as possible to make at least some of those options affordable, and to try and halt the keep rent prices where they are.

@h04ms But in SF, demand has always outstripped supply, which suggests that at best, prices won't go down. Builders will stop building if there's too much supply on the market, then start up again if demand rises. Unlikely prices will ever go down that much.

Ha ha. Here it is. Nimbyism = anti-BabyBoomers, the root of all evil for Yimbys, even though BBers weren't the ones who bid up SF real estate prices to out of reach, sky-high levels for above average wage earners & apartment dwellers.

@doomloopdisp Calling people dorks only works if you're a 90s high school bully, which kind of works for you since you're devoted to blocking housing and enabling SF homelessness and unaffordable rent.
