@neo_antiquarian People are homeless and get evicted because they can't afford rent because of your influence. People who want to make a lot of money and pay taxes in SF to help those people can't because of you. Just resign and focus on something else since you're clearly not cut out for this.

we've all been frogs in a pot that's slowly coming to a boil. i spent a lot of time in europe last year and it was such a shock to see good quality groceries being so affordable even in the most expensive EU cities. they have very strong consumer protection over there!

Hard to put into words what happened yesterday. I had zero awareness of the car that nearly brushed us on the right. In a fraction of a second it moved us from the middle lane into the left lane. My wife and I were completely speechless. We’re both safe because of that reaction. If we had stayed in the lane, things could have gone very differently. This is the kind of moment that makes you trust the system.

@h04ms But in SF, demand has always outstripped supply, which suggests that at best, prices won't go down. Builders will stop building if there's too much supply on the market, then start up again if demand rises. Unlikely prices will ever go down that much.
