This Press Release floating around from PIMS Hospital administration on Imran Khan is a chargesheet against Government of Pakistan and their boss Asim Munir.
1) What did they do in Jail to Imran Khan that caused Blood Clot in the Eye?
2) Why was such critical treatment delayed for multiple months?
3) If the issue was serious enough to bring to PIMS, why couldn’t he stay at hospital? And why not take him to eye specialist hospital like Shifa International Islamabad?
4) Why is family and personal doctors called when Imran Khan is brought to PIMS hospital?
5) These issues require specialized care post treatment? Why is Imran Khan taken back to Adiala Jail where he is in solitary confinement? Wouldn’t that further damage the eye?
6) Why is family not allowed to meet Imran Khan when court orders and prisoner rights both call for the visits?
7) Originally, 3 treatments were mentioned, what was the 4th one for? What are the details on the level of damage?
8) Lastly if it’s a “daycare procedure”, why do they only bring Imran Khan in the middle of the night? What are they trying to hide? Why can’t family talk to him?
Requesting everyone in the list below and all readers to raise voice for Imran Khan! His human rights, prisoner rights i.e. Mandela rules for prisoners dignity are being violated blatantly everyday. He is kept in solitary confinement for about 23 hours a day, that is TORTURE!

This is an SOS.
An urgent appeal to the International Community, to Human Rights Organizations and to every voice that still believes in justice.
Former Prime Minister Imran Khan, the most popular leader in the country and the chairman of its largest political party is being systematically denied his basic Human Rights.
He has already lost vision in almost all of one eye and he is now suffering from dental issues. He is being denied access to his personal physicians who know his medical history, who his family trusts and who are best equipped to treat him.
His family has repeatedly requested that he be shifted to Shifa International Hospital so he can receive appropriate care. Even more alarming is that his family has not seen him for over 6 months.
Raise your voice.
Demand accountability.
Demand his basic Human Rights!

Former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan is in solitary confinement since October 16, 2025.
He has spoken to his sons only twice in 2025 and once in February 2026 after Supreme Court orders. He has been denied books to read. He has received only 3 of the dozen books that we managed to get to adiala through a judge.
Then, a perfectly health and fit Imran Khan suddenly develops a clot in his eye. He was not provided medical assistance. For two weeks, he repeatedly told the jail superintendent that he CANNOT SEE.
The Adiala Jail superintendent Ghafoor Anjum DELAYED calling in a specialist for three months.
By the time the eye doctor came, the delay caused permanent damage to Imran Khan’s eye. We are extremely worried that his other eye could also develop a clot.
Imran khan has repeatedly sent messages over past few months that he is not satisfied with the treatment and there is only marginal improvement after the first injection in the eye. No improvement since then.
Over the past month, Bushra Bibi, his wife has also developed an eye condition and was operated upon last week.
Imran khan and his wife are being tortured through solitary confinement. We have repeatedly protested, demanding Imran Khan to be examined and treated at Shifa International Islamabad. There is an urgent need to identify the cause of the blood clot. Our worry is that his other eye could also develop a clot unless proper diagnosis is done and it’s treated accordingly
This is inhumane and a violation of all fundemental and human rights of a prisoner under Pakistan and International laws.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf held a grand public rally in Mardan — a major city in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province — with the region's Chief Minister Sohail Afridi leading the gathering as a show of political strength in support of jailed PTI founder Imran Khan.
Addressing the charged crowd, Afridi announced that he had conveyed a message to Khan, who remains detained at Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi, stating: "I am ready, the nation is ready — if you give us the go-ahead, we will be in Islamabad the next day."
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister also outlined the party's upcoming political roadmap, announcing a visit to Azad Jammu and Kashmir on April 25 coinciding with PTI's foundation day, followed by a Lahore rally on May 1 — all under the direct guidance of the incarcerated party founder.
A resolution adopted unanimously at the rally highlighted rising inflation, increased electricity tariffs, higher fuel prices, and persistent load-shedding as major burdens on Pakistani households.
Afridi also accused the federal government in Islamabad of denying Khan and his spouse Bushra Bibi access to medical treatment of their choice, calling it "sheer injustice" and "contrary to the Constitution."

The Mardan rally was visually impressive — yet the more pressing question is whether street power translates into political relief for Khan.
Khan has been imprisoned since August 2023 on multiple charges that he and his party maintain are politically motivated. Since then, PTI has held rallies across the country, each time declaring a turning point — yet Khan remains behind bars.
Notably, Khan himself directed the party to postpone its planned Rawalpindi rally earlier this month, citing sensitive U.S.-Iran diplomatic talks taking place in the Pakistani capital Islamabad — a move that surprised many within PTI's own alliance.
Cracks within the broader opposition bloc were also visible, with key ally Mahmood Khan Achakzai skipping the Mardan rally after reportedly expressing dissatisfaction over not being consulted on the event.
Political analysts note that PTI's street movement, while still capable of drawing large crowds, has not yet forced the government in Islamabad into meaningful negotiations over Khan's release. The pattern so far suggests that rallies are keeping public sentiment alive — but without a concrete negotiation framework or a shift in the establishment's position, they are unlikely to be the mechanism that opens Khan's cell door.
Whether PTI's leadership moves beyond rallies toward a more structured political dialogue — one that could genuinely put Khan's release on the table — remains the defining question of Pakistan's current political moment.

Pakistan's Imran Khan's unjust imprisonment is not because of any plausible evidence of corruption or criminality.
Its a politically motivated vendetta.
It stems from a personal grudge held by Pakistan's current Army Chief General Asim Munir, there is bad blood between him and Khan, not because of what Khan did wrong, but because of what he tried to do right.
Imran Khan was Prime Minister of Pakistan from 2018 to 2022. In October 2018 he approved the appointment of Lieutenant General Asim Munir as head of the powerful Inter Services Intelligence agency (also known as ISI) but after only about eight months in June 2019 Khan removed him from that powerful post and shifted him to command a corps in Gujranwala.
The military gave no public reason for the sudden change at the time.
Khan has always denied that the decision had anything to do with corruption allegations involving his wife Bushra Bibi. He called such claims completely false, meanwhile some orders have told me that Khan had serious concerns over the Genral "working eigh foriegn services" remember, it was Imran Khan who exposed the massive CIA influence in Pakistan, and called out its operators.
Khan was removed as Prime Minister in April 2022 through a no confidence vote in parliament. He called it an imported regime change backed by hidden forces. Soon after that, (unsurprisingly), Asim Munir was appointed Chief of Army Staff in November 2022.
Khan was then, again unsurprisingly arrested in May 2023 and has been in Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi since August 2023. He faces a long list of cases. These including obviously manufactured or flawed accusations that he illegally sold or kept expensive state gifts received as Prime Minister the Toshakhana references.
There is also the cypher case about a secret diplomatic document. Plus charges linked to the violent protests by his supporters on 9 May 2023 when military installations were attacked. Several other graft marriage validity and terrorism related cases were filed too. It all seems like a complex Web of Lawfare and supposition.
Some of the convictions against him have been suspended or overturned on appeal but fresh sentences and pending trials have kept him locked up. As of today, 17th of April 2026, he remains in jail serving time on various "corruption" convictions.
Khan and his party insist all these cases are fake and politically motivated. They point directly at General Asim Munir as the person behind what they describe as selective prosecution and pressure on the courts. Khan has repeatedly said Munir is acting out of personal revenge for being removed as ISI chief years earlier. He has even claimed that Munir is extending this vendetta to harsh treatment of his wife Bushra Bibi who has also spent time in prison on related charges.
Meanwhile, the international community is silent on the detention of a man who would, if polls are believed, sweep into power in a free and fair election in Pakistan.
Ask yourself 2 questions, if Khan was a pro western leader, who hadn't challenged foreign influence and corruption in Pakistan, would he be imprisoned today?
And finally, why is the dubious imprisonment of a globally recognised political leader essentially absent from western headlines?
