@lolyuh5 @_ratcatching @Lavader_ The border was wide open for ~2 years, Biden's parole programs paid tons of immigrants' flights to US airports, and he explicitly encouraged them to flood the southern border during that period. I'd be shocked if the number was way lower than 20 million.

The New York Times reports that 12 of the ~1500 January 6 rioters have reoffended in about a year's time—calling it a "crime spree". The recidivism rate of the J6ers is 0.8%. The average 1 year US re-arrest rate, by contrast, is 43%. funny how that works

@FischerKing64 They don't look happy because they're being forced to have their picture taken when they could be frolicking in the mine.

Look at their faces. They don’t really look happy - more like they have to pose and are fatalistic about maybe dying in a coal mine at the age of 12. This kind of thing wasn’t successfully regulated until 1938 under FDR, following over 30 years of activism. Good lesson in advancing standards of humanity. People argued against child labor laws under ‘freedom of contract’ theories with a straight face. It reminds me of the Cato arguments I read about increasing GDP through mass immigration at all costs - no matter if it tears society to pieces.

Tucker darkly asks: "Why can't this president, or any president, say no to Israel?" Obama enacted the Iran Nuclear Deal over Israel's bitter objections. Biden declined to support Israeli strikes on Iran. Even GW Bush refused! This is a Trump issue, not an "any president" issue

@tryingmehardest @malmesburyman Oh please, get out of your bubble. Most people outside of the west are perfectly happy to die like bugs if it helps their tribe. *We* are the weird ones for not thinking that way.

1) It is not confirmed that the apostles died in the way that they did, why they did, etc. Easy to exaggerate/invent these sorts of stories when ~everyone is uneducated & narratives are orally transmitted. Think of a giant telephone game. 2) People make really dumb/risky decisions all the time, often for bad reasons. These sorts of people have always existed and will always exist.

@halocosm @drewshirleylaw @xwanyex I think the point that is argued is that they would have willingly been tortured and murdered for something that they clearly would have KNOWN to be a lie - not simply for something they hoped to be true

@TomatoeJoee @drewshirleylaw @xwanyex Being killed for spreading foreign religious beliefs to other countries is nothing special. Tons of Protestants, Jews and Muslims were willing to risk their lives to fight the Catholic church during the inquisition. This does not prove that any of those religions are true.

@halocosm @drewshirleylaw @xwanyex You're grasping at straws. It's very different when you just saw a man be brutally murdered, buried in a tomb, then see him alive 3 days later with nail holes in his wrists. The life the apostles lived following the resurrection is something that no other religion has.

Unsurprisingly, smarter people tend to have better neurons. They are faster, longer, and more dendritically complex. Intelligence is physical!

@ShitpostRock2 I’m not commuting to school for one hour only for the prof to read off the slides in a monotone voice. Why defend mandatory attendance?for the people that show up to class it doesn’t affect them. it’s a skill issue if you skip and do badly. I’ve passed many courses not showing up

It's disgusting. Air Force Pilots are 95% White. Special Forces are 95% White. White males have represented a shockingly high disproportionate amount of deaths in the post-9/11 GWOT US military.

It’s really weird for Theo Von to throw out racial slurs at Whites on this seeing as combat arms is mostly White, because for the most part only White people are willing to fight and die for America to begin with. Nons mainly just join safer, more secure roles for the benefits.
