It’s been a marvellous week, and I’m celebrating starting to promote my first ever published book. - Last Friday my picture book PUFF the Puffing Puffin went live on Amazon as an A4-sized, full colour edition with text and glossy cover. It looks fantastic. Thanks to those who have helped me get this far, especially my wife Julie who has been my invaluable sounding board. - Over the weekend and into this week my book has been selling. I know, because so many people have told me and said how much they have enjoyed it. - On Monday my local Costa Coffee accepted my book advertisement on their notice board. - On Wednesday a cafe in town accepted my advertisement and then - and I wasn’t expecting this! - invited me to give a reading to children and parents next half term. Wey hey! - Yesterday a prestigious town hotel accepted my advertisement. When you walk in now, it’s hard to miss it! - Also, yesterday, a town cafe specialising in “crafts, coffee and cake” accepted my book advertisement and invited me to give 2 readings, plus they asked me to do a physical book launch there in April. Wowsa! I never dreamed publishing my first book could be this satisfying and exciting! Go Puff!
