When I joined petroleum Ministry in July 2021, BPCL was on the block for disinvestment, & look at how the company has now emerged as one India’s key energy sector players confidently contributing throughput of 109% of capacity to energise Indian economy as it races at 7.6% growth under leadership of PM @narendramodi Ji’s towards energy sufficiency, green transition & #ViksitBharat With a focus on sustainable solutions, the company has developed a vibrant ecosystem & a road-map to achieve its #NetZero target by 2040, in Scope 1 & Scope 2 emissions. BPCL’s Refineries at Mumbai, Kochi & Bina Refinery have a combined refining capacity of around 35.3 MMTPA, while the marketing infrastructure includes a network of installations, depots, energy stations, aviation service stations and LPG distributors.
