It still absolutely floors me that humans were able to figure out the universe sufficiently such that we were able to turn this seemingly physics-defying miracle into an ordinary, everyday fact of normal travel. What a world we live in.

kind of blows my mind that, in the past, you'd have needed an entire publishing arm to commit months of work and tons of money to do this, and now you can invoke a single Codex skill, walk away, and come back 20 minutes later to a finished and polished book insanity

fun use of Codex: taking old books that were never translated to English ("Todas as cartas", by Clarice Lispector) and: - spinning up 6 sub-agents to translate the entire thing start to finish - performing QA checks on translation quality - generate cover art - compile into epub

I wish every airline would do this. And by every airline, I mean every company and the owner of every public and private space on earth.

@felixrieseberg could you take a look at mobile AskUserQuestion functionality? doesn’t currently seem to display, and it effectively crashes the conversation

Also, since we're already busy shipping: Update your Claude Code to the latest version, run /remote-control, and then just remote-control your Claude Code from your mobile phone. Coding on your computer but from your phone so you can go and touch grass and still push code

Claude, when reviewing something written by Codex: "It's doing the GPT thing where it mostly agrees with you and repackages what was already said, but there are a couple of useful points in there..."

It's going to be tough for startups when all the Lord of the Rings names are taken and the only thing left is something like Bombadil AI.

BREAKING NEWS: @AnthropicAI just dropped Claude Haiku 4.5 and it's 🔥🔥🔥 We've been testing it for a few days internally @every and here's your day 0 vibe check: - It's almost as smart as Sonnet 4.5—great at long-horizon reasoning and tool calling - It's faster than Sonnet 4.5 and way faster than GPT-5 mini - It's 3x cheaper than Sonnet 4.5 at $1 / $5 per million input and output tokens - It's still about 4x more expensive than GPT-5 mini and Flash 2.5 mini Bottom line: If you're a developer using Sonnet 4.5 in the API this is a gift. You should consider switching immediately. If you're using GPT-5 mini or Gemini 2.5 Flash, try this—it might unlock new capabilities even if it costs more. Full vibe check on @every in the next tweet 👇

@R_Sharfuddin_ @andrew_carter i would love to hear more about this! Tyler does SO much stuff that it almost feels like if someone invented him as a character in a novel, we'd end up dismissing it as "unrealistic", because how could anyone sustain that level of input AND output without having five clones?

@andrew_carter Haha I asked him about Tyler Cowen "home production function". I would love for him to cover more about how people manage and enjoy personal life while being incredibly productive.

I'm learning the true Hanlon's razor is: never attribute to malice or incompetence that which is best explained by someone being a bit overstretched but intending to get around to it as soon as they possibly can.
