@PoppyLegion Here's what Nigel Farage, the 'leader' of Reform UK who wants to be the PM, thinks of the UK soldiers who paid the ultimate price in Afghanistan. He's siding with Trump. Hope every one of your Legion's members remembers this when they go to vote.

@JmsNwmn @RupertLowe10 Because we are British maybe? I wouldn’t be surprised if others demanded an apology too. NATO an enemy of the free world since the Cold War? Who would that leave as the free world. Africa, Russia, China? And what must the UK apologise for. Just stop the asslicking mate

Trump's comments about British troops in Afghanistan were deeply offensive. "They stayed a little back, a little off the frontlines." We should never have been in those hellholes, but so many decent British men and women lost their lives fighting there. Not a 'little off' the frontlines, but fighting alongside American allies and others. We should never have been involved in those wars, and I will never forgive the cowards who took us into them. And yes, of course we need to spend more on our military capabilities. That does NOT excuse Trump's comments. The troops there were patriotic men and women who should have their memory and service honoured, not demeaned by the American President. I like Trump. He's good for the West. But these comments were abhorrent. I sincerely hope he apologises.

@PRIB4531621 I haven’t heard anyone demean American Troops themselves. Just demeaning your leadership who have quite frankly gone crazy. What insane foreign policy consists of insulting allies and praising enemies?

@harrybaker82 My point is that the same people who demean American troops are complaining about this, I’m not saying that it was a good thing to say, I said that it was demeaning, but rather that it’s hypocritical.

I genuinely don’t know how eurotards can spend 1 gajillion years crying about how awful the U.S. military is, and when Trump says something demeaning about British soldiers, suddenly we’re supposed to be so so so so respectful. (Nobody should have died btw I hate war)

Don’t get distracted by the Team USA’s rally in singles - they have now lost 9 of the last 12 Ryder Cups, including three at home. How did we get here, and does the U.S. have the will to make the necessary changes? Put a lot into this one for @Skratch. skratch.golf/news/pro-golf/…

LMAO! President Trump is "visiting" the United Kingdom.... ...but still managed to be the "host" in this whole ordeal. Because he owns this property in Scotland. He is "hosting" the Prime Minister of a foreign country. Only Donald J Trump. 🤣🇺🇸

Wrong on pretty much every point. 1) I am not sniping. I have been raising concerns about my homeland for a long time. 2) The cities are lost. The institutions are lost. The Establishment are global elites who hate their own people. There is too much apathy and denial amongst the middle classes, and the working classes are held down. With the current trend of demographic changes, thee problems facing the UK will soon be irreversible if it is not already. 3) That sounded like a silly approach at whataboutery, and a lame strawman. No one said the US is without fault. But it is turning the tide. People are fighting for what they believe in, and the UK should take inspiration from that. There is no point looking down your nose at the US, which is one of the only countries winning battles in the culture war. 4) Kindly pipe down. I have been fighting for my country for years. I have organised hundreds-of-thousand man rallies; I have stood for election; I have written public policy and speeches for government ministers. I have debated with the best of them, and hosted important topics on TV shows. I have done and continue to do all I can. I am tired of being lectured to by keyboard warriors. Get on with the job at hand, stop making snide remarks at those who are doing something.

@dextervanzile @Thodin33 @JustAJaneJ You saved no one from Germany in WW1, that’s just classic American propaganda. Fought for less than a year when Germany’s resources were getting strangled by the British Royal Navy. US did considerably less than any of the European powers in WW1

@DominusClarus @Michou2433 @kniesel @Mikoyanyuuk @JoshEakle @elonmusk Who gives Russia the right to tell the Ukrainian people what they should do? Did the American colonists allow Britain to tell them what to do? No, they fought a war to be free. In your eyes did the colonists cause that war? Or was it the unfair treatment by the British?

@harrybaker82 @basedsomebody @Mr_Andrew_Fox It's fair to assume more British soldiers would die in a conflict related to defending Europe than American soldiers. As for the French soldiers, they only died because they couldn't pull their white flag out quickly enough.
