Our work “An Experimental Study of GPS Spoofing and Takeover Attacks on UAVs” was just now presented at USENIX Security 2022 by @harshadsathaye #sec22 The research was done in collaboration with @VLenders and @MasorX from armasuisse.

Extremely excited and humbled to know that I have been awarded the prestigious NSF CAREER award. The 4 year $575k award will fund my group’s research designing and developing security paradigms for next-generation wireless networks (think 5G and beyond).

Happy to announce that our paper demonstrating privacy leaks in Zigbee got the best student paper award at the 20th Applied Cryptography and Network Security (@acns2022). Big congrats to my PhD student Narmeen Shafqat on this achievement.
