@Kotaku There can be a broader discussion about whether single-player game publishers are using gameless collector's editions to increase prices too much + too quickly… … but the practice itself has been a net-positive, at least for me.

@Kotaku Strong disagree! Having the collector's edition not include the game gives us max flexibility with buying the game on the platform, in the storefront, and in the format (esp. digital vs. physical) that I want... without having to buy an extra throwaway copy of the game.

@Lindorn @MorelloNMST @jasonschreier So again… big salary ranges are problematic and should be called out. But wanted to point out for this specific example that you could/should consider Senior I to Senior II… as being more like Senior and Principal (even though Principal also exists 😂).

@Lindorn @MorelloNMST @jasonschreier The common sentiment if you ask Senior I’s about Senior II will be “I don’t expect to ever get there, but it’ll try.” It’s been a very uncommon promotion; far outweighed by Asso. to Mid and Mid to Senior. Senior IIs also quickly get promoted to Principal (often for retention).
