Our natural resources are one of Australia’s greatest strengths, and it’s time we used them. I’m 100% committed to reversing the damage Labor has done to our mining and energy sectors, which is critical to restoring Australians’ standard of living. Under a Coalition Government we will dig, drill and pay down the debt bill.

BREAKING: Queensland oil resource has been confirmed and is suitable for refining of Unleaded, Diesel & Jet A1 Kerosene. A refinery large enough to process the output must commence immediately. Will the Federal govt block or support this?

Remember when the Liberals told us EVs were going to “ruin the weekend”? A friend of mine just posted on a chat that filling up 💸 💸 her tiny petrol car last night ruined her weekend 🥺

The FBT exemption has helped more than 100 000 Australians afford EVs. In a global energy crisis, we need to use all levers to reduce reliance on fossil fuels, including extending EV subsidies and cutting back on the diesel fuel tax credit scheme. Our anti-fuel price gouging laws are in force - and it means families can save up to $333 every year. Servos that don't comply with capping and publishing prices on Servo Saver can face fines of more than $24,000 for every breach. Because the last thing families need is to be ripped off at the pump.

Australians are losing trust in government. They know that the major parties make decisions in their own best interests rather than those of the people they represent. They want lobbying reform and for us to close the revolving door between government and industry. My Clean Up Politics Act would do that; it's sitting before Parliament now. We could pass the legislation this week. The only thing standing between greater transparency in government, and Australians, is the major political parties. abc.net.au/news/2026-03-2…

It’s the 14th interest rate rise since the Albanese government came to power. Australia’s inflation problem wasn’t born overseas it was born in Canberra through Labor’s excessive spending. Read the full article here: angustaylor.com.au/media/dont-fal…

Ursula von der Leyen praises Australia's youth social media ban and urges EU countries to follow. But this is the same woman who floods the West with mass immigration, crushes free speech, and drives economic suicide via Net Zero. She doesn't care about protecting children, she cares about control.

We’ve set up a new Fuel Supply Taskforce, led by Anthea Harris. Working with states and territories, the taskforce will make sure fuel gets where it’s needed most. It will bring together experts and industry to protect our fuel supply, and make sure we have the latest information on supply and demand.

Today the independent Reserve Bank Monetary Policy Board increased the cash rate by 25 basis points. We already had an inflation challenge in our economy but the war in the Middle East is making this challenge worse. At a time of immense global instability, this will put even more pressure on families and businesses. Many Australians were already doing it tough and are now feeling the impact of conflict in the Middle East through higher petrol prices as well. That’s why we’re rolling out responsible cost of living relief and taking action to give consumers a fair go at the bowser, through higher penalties, more surveillance and more supply.

Hope it is dawning on people that we need to electrify transport ASAP. Need a national plan to do this. For national resilience, sovereignty and security. Heavy vehicles are the hardest and most expensive. But we have to try. Suggest we look at China’s policy and actions.

I received an automatic "Out of Office" reply from a third-year associate. It said she was "unavailable" for the weekend due to a family reunion. I was confused. I thought she worked for me, not the post office. I called her personal cell immediately. She didn't answer. So I called her parents' landline. I found the number in her background check file. Her mother answered. I told her it was an emergency regarding her daughter's future. The associate called me back three minutes later, breathless. She asked if she was fired. I said no, just missing in action. She spent the reunion refreshing her inbox every 30 seconds. Availability isn't a setting in Outlook. It's a lifestyle choice.

Where did the eight-hour day begin? Victoria. Where is the world’s oldest trade union building? Victoria. Victorian workers funded and built Trades Hall themselves - and built a movement that’s still fighting for your rights today. Happy Labour Day.
