According to Ariel Helwani, Conor McGregor has refused to sign a new deal with the UFC.
As a reminder, Conor still has two fights left on his current contract before becoming a free agent.
McGregor remains the biggest star in MMA history, and platforms like Netflix would likely be willing to pay massive money to sign him.
For the UFC, though, this could become a huge problem. The promotion hasn’t had a true superstar on Conor’s level since McGregor himself.
Nobody sold PPVs like Conor. Nobody attracted attention like Conor. And no MMA fighter has appeared on Forbes’ highest-paid athletes list since Conor did back in 2021.
Just imagine if Conor beats Max Holloway — the UFC would probably have to do everything in its power to keep him.

I paid a plumbing company $4,400 to replace a sewer line under my garage, and now my garage floor looks like it lost a fight with a sidewalk 😭
They cut a huge section out of the concrete, repaired the pipe, and patched it back in with concrete that doesn’t even remotely match the original floor.
So I asked the foreman when they planned to stain or finish it so it would blend in better…
And this man literally laughed and said:
“It’s a garage floor, buddy, not the Taj Mahal. Be glad it’s not dirt.” 💀

I’m sorry, but if I’m paying thousands of dollars for a “professional” repair, I feel like the end result shouldn’t look like a random parking lot patch job.
Now I’m sitting here wondering if this just tanked the appearance — and possibly the resale value — of my garage.
Would you push back and demand they resurface the area properly, or am I overreacting?

This is ridiculous. The school should have organized graduation indoors. The graduates and their families deserved a nice ceremony.
By the way, their parents are tax payers that fund the school and administrator’s salaries.
Being treated this way should not be tolerated.

Centennial High School graduation in Franklin, Tennessee was held outdoors despite heavy rain and lightning Weather is known in advance so the caroming could have been moved indoors but school officials had a “Rain or Shine” Policy so the Pre-Set Plans had to move ahead They knew the rain was coming but thought they could get the ceremony done before the rain and didn’t want to move the ceremony into the gym. From what I could find they didn’t know if everyone would fit They even had a backup plan incase it rained Staff indicated that if it rained on Thursday, they’d try again Friday and go indoors if needed then. They stuck with the original Thursday plan rather than moving it to Friday Many parents and attendees were extremely frustrated, calling it unsafe due to the lightning strikes. They were disappointing because it was such a milestone
