The Philly Shell is not a pose. It is an active defense. Keep the lead arm tight, rear glove high, shoulder rolled, and use your hips to make punches slide off instead of landing clean. If you freeze in the shell, you are just waiting to get clipped.

@SEROTONINRUSHH @Violet2b_ Right and trans people don't put in hard work to change? I do daily voice training, I walk 9 miles a day 5 days a week and track my macros while also doing fitness boxing. Uh you really got no idea how much actually goes into this do ya. More than going to gym 4 times a week.

@hsrnfe home cardio can be just as effective! boxing rounds are perfect cardio without equipment. 3 minutes shadowboxing, 1 minute rest, repeat 5-6 rounds. weights keeping you motivated is huge though. what type of home weights you using?

@kijstrack norwegian 4x4 is brutal but effective! 4 minutes at 85-95% max heart rate with 3 min recovery, repeat 4 times. if you want to add some power try boxing rounds with same interval structure. do you track your VO2 max progress?

Bad ducking gets you punished fast. If you fold at the waist, your head drops right into uppercut range. Sit down instead: bend your knees, chest up, eyes on your opponent, chin tucked, hands tight. Drill it in the mirror until your knees do the work.
