@FounderIke @MaxBrodeurUrbas smart move validating first! boxing app market is crowded but good ones still succeed. timer plus technique guidance works well. what features were you thinking of focusing on?

Wanna recommend this EO episode from @MaxBrodeurUrbas. A super underrated skill is figuring out what not to pursue. Was just invalidating a boxing app idea I was passionate about, so I can fully focus on the startup that'll work. youtu.be/CxFQykWiJqY?si…

We need to see David Benavidez versus Jai Opetaia. Not sure why I'm grinning so much at the prospect of two men fighting. Jai's not gonna be there to get hit like Zurdo. Best fight in the higher weight classes right now. Bivol outboxes Benavidez, Beterbiev stops him imo.

I don't have the expertise. Gassed out and quit during my college boxing club fight last year. Felt defeated, went to a local gym to see if I could improve. One coach wasn't helpful but the other one changed my life. How to throw a jab the right way. The importance of staying loosed and relaxed. Speed and technique over power. I always tried to force the issue. But what he taught me translated beyond boxing to running and basketball, to life in general. Was thinking of creating a boxing app that'd be hype for casuals, those people at the gym standing in one place trying to punch the bag really hard like I used to. But I'd really want to help others learn the same things I did. That's why I love the sport.

"The depth of how well you understand the problem is proportional to your success." What a banger. It's not enough to follow your passion: you need to have domain expertise to deliver REAL value. Thank you, @JayHoovy! youtu.be/AIMTrjTviz4?si…

Relationship between @AlexHormozi and his dad reminds me of that between me and my mom. To not have your parent's support hurts, especially when you feel like you're pursuing greater success for the entire family. The only one we can lean on is Christ. youtu.be/yCZF1nJc7gw?si…

Nothing glamorous about being a founder. You're not working for yourself, you're working for the vision. You have this cool idea, but then it becomes bigger than you. A dream quickly becomes a responsibility. But everything worthwhile in life seems to work this way. Gotta sacrifice 💪

Tried talking myself out of applying. But I want to grow fast. Bootstrapping is not conducive for this. The deadline is in a couple of days. Been refining this thing for a month. Let me get a demo out and change my life.

Was debating applying to @ycombinator. But with no need for funding atm, it'd just be for ego. A cofounder would be cool, but I just need to bounce ideas really. So why not use X? Wasn't even using it myself, but a YT channel is a lot of work ngl. Starting today, we build here.

Confident that I'm working on a billion-dollar problem by automating QA. But not super passionate about it honestly. However, yesterday was my dad's birthday. With all the sacrifices he made for us, I can't shy away from the vision God gave me because I wasn't feeling it. Let me pursue it and see what happens.

Calling all @claude_code users! Plan mode is @AnthropicAI's greatest innovation but also its greatest fault. It makes you feel like you did a lot, but it still produces slop. If you care about shipping quality, most of the work is now fixing LLM mistakes (QA). Am I alone here? This is why it's still annoying to get from 0 to 1. I don't want to be an AI supervisor, I want to be an AI manager! Going to try to alleviate this problem. Any thoughts?

Amazing insight from @amanrsanger. The recent Claude Code bandwagon made me forget of how revolutionary Cursor was with CMD+K. Would like to also +1 that adding files to context was awesome when it launched. Only recommendation: Drop Composer and get back to developer experience! Got a really bad haircut, and that regret inspired me to create a website to share life lessons. Now that I'm using X, I'm seeing similarities, but the vibes are different. It's on the back burner now, but if anyone sees this later, lmk what you think. iwishiknew.co
