@LibertyCappy This is a mistake, at least in Brazil. Women can NOT abort, but they can give their baby to adoption immediately after they are born. Nobody is saying they have to take care, just not kill.

@Kronykal In Brazil, Malls are still going strong. It is much safer than streets, so we have everything there: restaurants (good ones), movie theater, even grocery stores, ...

Why did people stop going to indoor malls? Is it Amazon? Going to the mall and hanging out for hours was half the 80s. It was friggin awesome.

@heynavtoor Don’t get me wrong, this is like vibe coding in 2018. It’s just a toy. One day will be a real flow, now it is toy only. I’m electrical engineer and I don’t hate. Exactly the opposite. I’m eager for it to be a real flow.

🚨 Electrical engineers are going to hate this. Someone just turned React into a circuit board factory. Write code. Get a real PCB manufactured and delivered to your door. It's called tscircuit. React for Electronics. No Altium. No $10,000/year licenses. No 6-month learning curve. You write React components. But instead of

@RoundtableSpace Yeah, I second this. I built my entire custom CRM using Next.js + Shadcn and Claude Code. However I do prefer the look of tailwind components.

@mageeclegg The problem of living in two places is to become a rocketman. Note feeling a whole anywhere. Rio is ultra unsafe, I am middle class and I am considering change my car to a bulletproof one. Yes, there are good things, but not feeling safe is the worse.

I know a dual citizen… 🇧🇷 🇺🇸 He grew up in the U.S. Moved to Brazil in his late 20s… Spent 8 years in Rio de Janeiro 🇧🇷. Two years ago… he moved to Miami 🇺🇸 to make more money… He hates it. Says he doesn’t feel like himself. Everything feels like a status game. The community feels fake. Dating is transactional. He told me when he meets girls on apps… they want video screening calls before even meeting. In Brazil 🇧🇷… things just flowed. You didn’t need a resume to start a conversation. You could sit down anywhere… talk to anyone… and it felt alive. No status games. No performance. Just good vibes. Now he’s trying to get back to Brazil… Says he’d trade the money just to feel like himself again.

🇧🇷 There has to be a reason why majority of houses in Brazil only have AC in the bedrooms but not in the living room And the living rooms get insanely hot in the summer (which is December-March, opposite of US/EU etc) Literally majority of the Airbnbs we stayed didn't have AC in living room Good thing is they at least have AC in the bedrooms though unlike Europe which doesn't have any AC usually But still not Asia where the entire place is fully 16-18'C ACd in every single room, how it should be!

True story... My senior year in university I had an international business professor from Brazil 🇧🇷 Legit first day and he says, "Every man in this class should book a ticket to Rio de Janeiro at least once in their life." Then he went on to give us a full breakdown of how if we bought two brand new Macbooks and properly opened them up We could get them into Brazil without import taxes Once inside Brazil with the two computers, we could sell them and make more than enough profit to spend a couple months in the city Dude was my favorite professor by far
