Common question: "When will you buy back?" Answer: Lower. I'd like to rebuy around $51k. However, the highest price I can see myself re-buying is around $70k. This would be super conservative, and still in profit. My final rebuy range depends how the market plays out in the coming months. The main goal is to protect my original $BTC and end up with more. I'll feel out the market over the coming few months and see how likely it looks like below $60k will happen. More time will give us more data. This is important. The chart needs time to unfold for analysis.

My short was too early, plain and simple. I was wrong to short without proper confirmations. I had already outlined the higher probability approach... wait for clear acceptance within the range. I didn’t follow my own plan. That’s on me. Coming off a strong yearly win streak, it’s easy to let confidence creep into execution. Not in a reckless way, but in subtle ways, entering a bit sooner, anticipating instead of confirming. The setup was there from a TA/PA perspective, but timing is part of the edge, and I compromised on that trying to prove something. That’s the part people don’t talk about enough... it isn't just about being right, it’s about repeating your process without exception. The moment you start bending rules even slightly, because things have been going well, you’re no longer trading your system, you’re trading your ego. Don’t front run your own strategy and don’t trade to validate yourself. It’s easy to fall into that pattern on an app where validation is key. As it stands, I’m still in the position with my stop at 84K, but I have to be honest, it’s looking increasingly likely that it gets taken. That doesn’t change my broader thesis. But if I do get stopped, I’ll reassess with a clear head rather than forcing the next move. We reset, and we go again.

Which would suggest wherever $BTC is around monday, we get a reversal next week after forming the pivot high similar to the previous week.

The last time Sunday $BTC pumped, We dumped Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday before a recovery into monthly close. Given that we are pumping again & sweeping the previous monthly high into a new monthly open... seems like we are following a similar setup to last week.

If we look at how $BTC typically performs in Q2 during a bear market, the pattern is fairly consistent. May tends to be mixed, but in the last 2 bear cycles it actually performed quite badly. The key factor isn’t just May itself, it’s the reaction that follows and how BTC behaves going into Q3. With May and June often being relatively slow, August and September have historically been the weakest months in bear markets, frequently retracing most, if not all, of the prior Q2 upside moves. That’s why I prefer to position myself as a buyer during August and September. As stated previously.

$BTC GM, looks like they might be going with a more aggressive scenario, sweeping the previous monthly high at the start of May (taking out short stops) before moving back into range and setting a range high. I’d be very careful longing into the sweep. I’ve got a feeling it retraces fairly quickly on the HTF through the rest of May. This kind of move typically shows up at the start of a new month, it’s pretty textbook, hence why I derisked my the add on my short at BE. I’ve also placed another small short add at 79.5K in case we sweep the previous monthly high (which is likely now), which should further improve my average from 76K, similar to the last add. SSL remains the same. 1W closure above 83K. No HSL.

What is different this time is the sentiment. In 2018 and 2022 most people were bullish… right now most ppl expect sub 50 k in late q3 or q4 this year, less people are bullish.. While i expect it to play the same i cannot ignore this detail. And there are more consistent bids from etfs and saylor this time too. They didnt exist in 2022

When you go to upscale Indonesian resto or 5-star hotel, they always unnecessarily elevate the materials, probably to justify the price tag. The other day I had tongseng wagyu. Sure, it tastes good. But does a tongseng need a wagyu beef to be delicious? Not really, but understandable. The one Indonesian food they always fail to elevate in upscale setting is nasi goreng. To compensate, they put various add ons: chicken drumstick, grilled prawn, satay, etc. The best nasi goreng is on the streets with the people. Gentrified nasi goreng is the worst.
