I hate stopping between sets to log reps into an app. so I built a gym copilot for ray-ban meta glasses → auto-detects the lift, counts reps, tracks tempo, runs your whole workout. no phone, no logging (just a clean json after). also noodling on real time voice coaching, imagine looking at a mirror and hearing "flatten your back" the second you start rounding on a deadlift please make fun of me if im still fat by eoy

week 3 of the tonik LA era. designing with a16z speedrun founders by day, somehow making it feel more like mischief than work. sunsets, tacos, figma tabs spiraling, and a crew that still wants to hang out after hours. is this work? technically yes. does it feel like summer camp? also yes.

We’ve been brought in by @a16z to design inside @speedrun - their program backing the next generation of category-defining startups. We’re working directly with ~50 teams on brand and product in their final sprint to Demo Day. Not consulting. Not advising. I was stalling to switch to Figma's new UI. Most designers have to relearn stuff, again. Not me though, I can finally start complaining about the things that designers were complaining about a year ago. Where the hell is the corner radius control!?
