As we get deeper into Season 1, we've been monitoring your feedback around the current combat sandbox closely. We wanted to talk a little about a few of the topics we're seeing frequently from the community, and some updates we're planning. 💣Too Many Grenades A big topic in the community right now is that it's not a good experience to open up a fight only to be barraged with dozens of grenades. We're looking to push some changes to stock counts and stack sizes before the end of the season. We're keeping an eye on the overall usage of equipment and will make additional changes as necessary. 🪙Gold Ares Railgun The Ares railgun with a Prestige mod being able to one-shot Runners with purple or gold shields is unintentional, and we'll be issuing a fix in a future update. We want it to feel strong and fun to use without being so effective it becomes overly frustrating to play against. 🔫WSTR Damage Nerf The WSTR damage nerf was a temporary nerf and we just released a more nuanced set of changes earlier today in Update 1.0.6.2. While we aren't looking to change the two-shot breakpoints, the WSTR indeed took a bigger hit than we were intending with the temporary nerf and we intend for this change to put it in a better place. It should have similar effectiveness against AI as before the nerf as well have less damage fallout at range. Go try it out and let us know what you think. Likewise, the knife is the close quarters equivalent of sniper skill—in a game with such a short TTK, if you aren’t playing carefully enough and I’m playing patiently enough that I can actually succeed in getting up on you with a knife before you drop me, you deserve to go down in 1-2 hits. Due to TTK of other weapons. nerfing knife just makes using knife against players a death trap. As for self revive—can’t self revive if I take the time to finish you! I love the tension of self revives in a crew-v-crew fight. It’s perfect.

How to make marathon 2026 GOTY REMOVE: Self revives - this should never be in any game. It lowers skill ceiling. Thermal sniper Scopes - Obv REMOVE BULLET MAGNETISM for mnk and roller . I can't really comment too much on specifics but you really should sell everything your vault. There's a patch coming that's going to make things different, too. You might not like this kind of different. You can sell all of your vault items. Something is coming and you need to he ready for it.

@Aegis_and_Pred @TheTrueVanguard He is not complaining about the technicalities of how he died, he is talking about the players whom instead of them playing with fill, they snipe-matchmake solos with each other to gain an early edge over all the others at the start of the game which does count as cheating imo.

So I have had several matches now that Outpost solos has been changed where people are queuing together and teaming. Running around, no open mic so they're likely in discord, running in unison, looting in unison, chasing you down in unison. It's so fricken stupid.
