Does anyone know what the plan is (if any) for cyclists going between Wellesley St and Karangahape Rd? There’s an 800m gap where the Waihorotiu Path ends and the top of the hill at K’ Rd. Plenty of room to take 1 of the 5 or 6 lanes and use it for bikes and scooters? 🚲 🛴

The Elizabeth Line hit a new daily record of 738,000 users last week. Pre-pandemic projections were between 350,000 to 460,000 users per day. Other figures suggest a net gain of 140,000 public transport journeys across the capital a day But apparently it's a white elephant

@CriticalMassAKL How do you get to Vincent St from Queen St without battling busses up Wellesley St? Can’t really get there from the soon to be cycleway on Victoria St. 🤔

@hhb442 Greys Ave's extra-wide footpath already provides a pretty good cycle route, but Vincebt Street is mapped out as the official route leading up to Karangahape Station as that work is undertaken (the bike path is never guaranteed, sadly).
