mini-apps will unlock vibe coding for consumers the way short-form video unlocked video creation for everyone. full apps are too hard to build: auth, integrations, logic becomes more complex as number of screens grows. but almost anyone can describe a one-screen app. A widget. A flow. everything else belongs to the platform layer anyway. why rebuild auth every time you want to do something simple? if you had to create a TV channel every time you wanted to post a video we would have no UGC content. people don’t want apps. they want outcomes.

@robinebers @rive_app Technically, it is a production-ready UI asset including its animation, and its logic can be integrated into any production framework using the Rive runtime. But it currently seems can only be implemented as in-app UI component, rather than as the widget on home screen.
